It has been a while since I have posted here but I am thrilled to be back here again! Today is Canada Day and unlike every year where people spend time celebrating and displaying their fireworks and feasting on barbeque and cake, this year a lot of Canadians are aware of the recent news about Aboriginal graves being found across several locations. It has been a very heartbreaking moment and this year I decided to take a pause from the celebrations out of respect for what is currently happening here.
Today, I decided to take a different walking route and found a whole new football field and a cycling trail! Here are some pictures:
Down below is a picture of the cycling trail. I know that it may confuse some people who may think its a road but this is actually a cycling trail! Luckily, it was all empty so I took a walk to check out this new trail I found today.
When I initially began walking, it was quite sunny but during my walk, the weather shifted and became more cloudy. I knew that it was going to rain so I took a quick picture behind the goalie post. For some reason, it reminds me of a horror movie scene with dark clouds and an empty field.
On my way back home, I decided to meet up with a friend outside her house. She has a small nice sitting area outside the porch and I took the initiative to make tea for us so we could drink it outside.
I am looking forward to tomorrow since I will be visiting a new park which I have not visited for a year. I plan on taking some pictures as well as checking out an old running track where I used to practice my sprinting skills.
