Hallo good evening everyone... How are you all friends in this #AROUNDTHEWORLD 🌍 community...
On this occasion tonight I post some macro photos after this week I have been inactive in the world of steemit because the demands of work are very dense, tonight I try to present a photo of a caterpillar that is voraciously eating leaves, this photo I shot in the area of mountain salak a mountainous area which is approximately 1.30 minutes from my house, maybe I will immediately explain a brief description of the caterpillar.
Caterpillars are caterpillars that can be said to be the most voracious animals and can eat everything in a matter of hours, from 100 percent of all types of caterpillars there is one percent caterpillar which is a cannibal caterpillar. Caterpillars from the egg phase to become a butterfly can take 26 - 31 days to fulfill the last phase, namely the butterfly.
The caterpillar that I found has long black hairs with a black and white body and the head has an orange color, this caterpillar is eating leaves slowly and voraciously.
Caterpillars have 350 genera and 2500 species spread throughout the world. caterpillars to become a cocoon takes approximately 9 days
Some caterpillars should not be touched, because these caterpillars have protection in their fur, namely poison, so when the skin is touched it will cause irritation and itching, so it must be treated quickly before the irritation spreads throughout the body.
The caterpillar in the last stage will become a cocoon, the cocoon will usually hatch into a pupa in summer or spring for approximately 10-14 days and the cocoon can sleep long in winter.
In the post that I presented above, my friends have seen and read a brief description of the caterpillar from the first to hatching into a butterfly. Hopefully the post above can be useful for all of us, thank you for all of my friends who have visited and supported my post today.
