I like Matt Damon from his Jason Borne series and he is known for other action roles. This movie was no exception involving some science fiction too.

This is normally an underrated movie but overall its good to watch. Movie starts with concept of division between rich and poor. All the rich live on space station called Elysium and they have all sorts of luxury utilities and lifestyle there. Earth is devastated with all kind of plague and poverty, with no one to help the poor.

Max is working for Elysium corporation of weapons who police the earth. He gets entangles in radioactive accident by mistake. Later on he is fired from his job and only 5 days are left for him to live from this extreme dosage of radiation. He seeks the help of his friend to go to Elysium for the cure.

Max somehow manage to go to Elysium,. The head of board are there fighting for own political supremacy. A solider is tasked with overriding the source code of Elysium. This code lands up in hands of Max after killing its bearer. When Max brings this code to his friend on earth. They found loophole which could create everyone citizen of Elysium with equal rights.

Final battle is very decisive because Max has to sacrifice his own life to make it happen.
