The irony of looking at this new website is that for years these terms were synonymous with Steem and the Steem blockchain. They still are. The Steem blockchain is still all these things, but it is going through a turmoil unlike its previous turmoils and once again it will HardFork and continue as separate communities.

It has happened before on this chain and others. Some say the magnitude of the split this time is greater. Many say the size of the movement to the other chain will be huge. But only time will tell.

Why?
To start a new chain free of current conflict between the two portions of the community.
