I think we take judgement for granted, and most of us do not really even realize we are judging half the time. I think that is because judgement is one of those things that we often do silently in our minds, with no check and no filter to guide it. It seems natural and normal to judge people according to the same values that we hold for ourselves.. but is that actually even a smart way to live?
How do you judge? DO you require other people to uphold the values that you have, and how do you react when that doesn’t happen? Do you get upset with others, for example because they are consistently late for meetings, and you would never make some wait and are always on time. Or do you let them know that they have done something that you don’t like and ask them to change their behaviour? Or perhaps you do nothing, say nothing?
I agree with @ecotrain statement on we often be bias towards others in our judgement.
We filter what is 'right' and 'wrong' according to our own values, and think that our value/perceptions/opinions are the ultimate TRUTH and noble and everyone else is wrong.
How do I judge?
In the past I don't know myself well, I was lost and confuse and just follow the herd and just follow whatever everyone said their truths is.
I just become a chameleon and camouflage myself even if I think and feel that their truth not align and fit with me just because I don't want them to see me different/strange/crazy.
This is due to my upbringing and environment that I was raised in and mindset of the people that I have exposed to.
After discovered myself, know what my truth and purpose is, I'm aware that each of us has our own unique role in this lifetime, to balance everything in this planet Earth from our own unique lens of truth so it become sustainable in the long run for the future generation to live.
With our own unique purpose and truth, we remind each of us through our lens of truth so the other human with different set of truth than us be reminded and balance what ever that they are doing. We are pieces of the puzzles that fit in the whole ever changing puzzle. Quoting Stanley Victor Paskavich
“We're all pieces of the same ever-changing puzzle;
some connected for mere seconds, some connected for life,
some connected through knowledge, some through belief,
some connected through wisdom, some through Love, and some connected with no explanation at all. Yet, as spiritual beings having a human experience, we're all here for the sensations this reality or illusion has to offer. The best anyone can hope for is the right to be able to Live, Learn, Love then Leave. After that, reap the benefits of their own chosen existence in the hereafter by virtue of simply believing in what they believe. As for here, it took me a while but this progression helped me with my life: "I like myself. I Love myself. I am myself.”
For example, if I am vegan, I will remind my fellow human who are not vegan to be more mindful about their diet and just take only what they need for their nutrient consumption and not abusing the animals for their selfish need.
I don't judge this non vegan human as bad person just because they not embrace my truth and my role in this lifetime as a vegan.
Do you let them know that they have done something that you don’t like and ask them to change their behavior? Or perhaps you do nothing, say nothing?

When I was younger, I expected a lot more from the people that were in my life. Expecting them to know exactly what I needed and that they would meet those expectations without any verbal communication from me. Believing that if they really cared then they would know what I needed. Of course I was let down, and in those moments I judged them and their friendship to me.
I can totally relate to this because this is how I was raised by my parents.
As if all human have this inborn empathy and telepathy communication.
The way I approach to what I see not balance from my lens of truth is by using NLP approach which is try communicate with them by aligning my frequency and their frequency and then start to communicate verbally to state my truth to them and remind them to balance what ever they are doing from their lens of truth.
From my lens of truth, this is more effective way of communication with others with total different perceptions than me so they can grasp and understand what I am trying to relay to them astrally(frequency) and physically. This is to avoid any misunderstanding that will lead to unhealthy argument and lead to hating each other which is not the outcome that I desire.
I am still work in progress on this communication skills.
You know the moment when someone trying to relay their information to you verbally, but you could grasp and get what they trying to say even if they didn't wholly blurt them out fully.
There is no right or wrong, the ultimate purpose and challenge we human has is to BALANCE everything.
Nature shows us this too right? If I am a vegan and wanted everyone to follow my truth, then why god/nature create carnivore animals in the first place to feed on other animals?
Also if I don't want plant to be destroyed and preserve it just how they are how the cow are going to feed themselves?
I think same goes for human, not all are created the same, some have different types of nutrition that fit and suite their body or else they will get sick.
Balance is the key.
When it tilt too much to the either side then it become disastrous.
We each have our own unique purpose and role in this lifetime.
No one is noble than another just because they think their truth is the best and the ultimate truth.
The challenge is to balance all the polarities.
Then remind our fellow human from the lens of our truth with full of LOVE so we can achieve the perfect balance for the planet Earth to be sustainable and better place for the future generation to live.
Because LOVE is what unite all of the different roles/purpose/truth we human has.
beautiful perspective! thank you so much for this sharing! Aligning the perspective as you say it, and using NLP with the heart is a beautiful way to avoid judging others too.. the communication skills needed are something i am very much workign with right now with NVC.. if you didnt spot it im holding a workshop right now that you may find quite interesting and usefil! <3

So true, that we all make judgements automatically, but if we can keep that to ourselves and keep an open mind then we can often find some wonderful people with just slightly different values to our own.

I agree. I learned a lot from those who have different perspectives than mine. Mostly for what I don't know or skill that I don't have they possess, and vice versa. I look at it like we are all here to complete each other what each of us lacking.
