Greetings to everyone. How are you doing in your respective countries. I'm glad for being among the participants of this awesome contest in this prestigious community. Here in my own post about this contest. I want to also use this opportunity to appreciate @steemhobbies for organizing such a wonderful contest. I'm being given an opportunity to showcase my hobby.

This is a great opportunity for me to tell you about my hobby. Many people here in steemit knows me as an artist and my favorite community for sharing my post on my drawing/painting career is World of Xpilar. World of Xpilar is a productive community for creative minds like me. Being an artist involved herculean task. It seems pretty simple, but to me truly being an artist is so much more. Being an artist means creating something that makes somebody feel.

Being an artist means forgetting limits and boundaries and letting your imagination flow freely onto the canvas. Being an artist means exploring and expressing yourself and your emotions, whether it be through painting, drawing, or sculpting. Being an artist means pouring your heart and soul into every piece that you do, regardless of the recognition that you may receive. Being an artist means persevering through the toughest circumstances, through the critics and haters, and still doing what you love. My art journey began at a young 4 years old.

My father has been an artist all of his life, so naturally I was toted along to art shows and other places like art museum.

Being an artist has been one of the best thing that has ever happened to me. And joining steemit is also one of the best thing that has ever happened to me. I now have a platform to showcase my talent among talented individuals like me. Steemians who loves creativity have really encouraged me. I keep sharing what I can do with other people here. It's so exciting to be sharing my hobby with you here and also getting rewarded. Thanks to the founder of steemit. This place has really exposed me to so many people who share my same interest.

Other works

I like to explore all kinds of genre of art. However, I'm afraid of wet medium because I work directly from my apartment and I don't want to mess my room with colours and paint. I love drawing with dry pastel, colored pencils, charcoal and graphite pencil. I started drawing officially since 2015. I don't meant to be braggadocios I am known for drawing perfectly with charcoal and graphite. I love using scribbling method and smudging.

Other works

I'm always overwhelmed with the euphoria of the moments when working. I do better when I listen to uplifting music while drawing or painting. My works are unique to me. You can't replicate my creativity.

I'm a Nigerian and I'm based in Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom State. I'm yet to own a studio. I have plans for that. However I work from my home. I still have plans of getting myself a studio in due time to come.
