So the today's topic of this contest is to enhance or enlighten the way of powering-up and it's importance for a user and community. This post is very informative, about the process of power-up our earnings at Steemit. So let's start the writing.

What is power-up:-

Power-up is a process that contains on some type of conversion of dollars. It means, that it converts the SBD or Steem dollars into Steem power that also called SP. SP represents the stakes of user's at Steemit. When a user power-up his earnings, he makes his power and expand his influence. Powering-up is a very important thing for a user to enhance his capabilities to foster contents. In short, power-up takes user towards benefits.

Steps for power-up

Step 01

In this step, we see the both amount at different places. There are 2.001 Steem are in my account which can be powered-up. And the other amount is 75.165 Steem. These are the values before power-up.

Step 02

The 2nd step is to click on the amount that is to be power-up. There is an option of power-up. We clickon it and then will do next steps.

Step 03

The thing which we do in 3rd step is to choose the amount value, as I chose 1.0 Steem to be power-up. We choose our amount and then click on the option Power-up.

Step 04

Here we click on the Button OK. Which will confirm our completion of our process. Her is memo key that works for our every type of transactions.

Step 05

Here is the last thing after powered-up is to check our balances. You can see the amounts after power-up. The value changed from 2.001 to 1.001 and other changed from 75.165 to 76.165.

Importance of power-up:-

Importance of power-up is not short. It is very beneficial and significant for users, and communities of this network.

It can be pointed as follows

• Boost rewards
• Enhance our power to vote other people
• Ensures security & Privacy
• Make investments

These are the importance of doing power-up. User can make his reputation on Steemit. He can feel secure about his savings & long-term investments Although power-up is not essential but a choice of a user to increase his influence on platform. If user do not want to power-up, he will not tend to do this. But without doing power-up he cannot gain the real and proper benefits of this network.
