Assalamu Alaikum to all,
Hindhowel community organized weekly power up competition. This is organized by respected admin of the community @jyoti-thelight ma'am, thank you for organizing this and encouraging the power up. I will walk you through the step-by-step process of getting my account using Steam.

My wallet now has liquid steam 291.854 I will power up 291 steam from here and I had 2650.559 steam power before.

Step 1:

To power up I go to my wallet and click on the icon next to where I have liquid steam to start powering up.

Step 2:

Clicking on power up brings up a (Convert to Steem power) window where I specify my liquid steem 291 amount and click on power up.

Step 3:

Clicking on power up brings up another new window showing my steam amount and my own account. I click OK to go to the next step.

Step 4:

In the next step I will complete the power up process with the specified key in the blank box.

At the end of the power up my steam power increased to 2941.559. Which before power up was 2650.559 steam.

IMPORTANCE TO POWER UP
Powering up is very important to keep a Steemit ID active and requires at least two power ups per month. Power up is very important and necessary to increase the power of an account.
