Which language do you proud of and why?

Friends, my country is Pakistan and it is the land of peace and freedom. In that country, different types of languages are spoken by different nations living in it. This is because, the language is a way to keep the people connected with each other through expressing the thoughts and communicating with each other. These languages including the Urdu, Punjabi, English pashto and Hindi etc. In them, Urdu is our national language and Punjabi is my mother language.

But the English is an international language which we all know. But among all of them, I'm proud of my national language which is Urdu. Yes because, it is spoken in most parts of the country and the people understand it easily as compared to other languages. Also, most of the syllabus books, and other reading books are written in Urdu language because it spoken and understand by the majority of people.

Can you tell the history of the language you are proud of, how it became a language and became common among the people?

Yes, the Urdu language has a very brief history because, the people started speaking Urdu in the 12th century in the subcontinent. Back in Mughal era, when their soldiers used Urdu language to communicate with each other. This is because, their soldiers were arrived from the different regions of subcontinent and were speaking different language in their eras. So they started understanding each other through the words on Urdu.

After that, the Mughal emperors started understanding Urdu from through soldiers and then the people living in the subcontinent started adopting Urdu. This is because, the Urdu word was derived from the from Turkish word ordu which means that army and camp. Due to which, in the 18th and 19th centuries, the Urdu declared as a literary language.

How to avoid miscommunication in language and how to create effective communication?

Yes, it is very important to avoid miscommunication in langues and create an effective community because, the style of communication shapes the personality of people and their understanding about different languages and cultures. So let's have a look at some points through we can make an effective communication:

  • Try to be an active listener and listen people carefully when they are talking to you.

  • Don't answer them when you don't understand what they are saying to you.

  • Stay polite and make an eye contact while communicating.

  • Always use visual aids while talking and expressing your thoughts with others.

  • Always use simple words when you are talking to people or answering them.

There is a mother tongue that unites us with people in a smaller sphere, and there is a language that unites us in a wider sphere. Language (communication) bridges us to understand each other.
