Food is an important fuel for human's body that provides energy for the body to function properly (both physical and mental health).

Yes, we need food daily for survival, to prevent diseases and boost immunity. Today, I want to share my food diary for 5th September, 2024. I will start with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Being that breakfast is an important meal of the day, I thought to prepare something appetizing to start the day so I made fried potatoes served with omelette and ketchup.

I started making breakfast at 8:00am by peeling, washing the potatoes and frying with low heat. I enjoy potato more when it’s not crispy but soft which is why the gas was on low heat while frying. After preparing potatoes, I went ahead to mix egg with onions, fresh pepper, salt and maggi and then fry together.

It was yummy as seen in the above photo and I made it attractive too.

At noon, I removed soup that was stored in the freezer and kept for 40 minutes for it to defrost. When I noticed that the soup was dissolved, I took some and microwaved. While in the process of microwaving the soup, I placed a kettle of water on the gas and made garri ( cassava flakes ) to accompany with the soup. Oha soup and swallow (garri) was served for lunch.

After having lunch, I continued with my activities for the day till evening. I was still full so I decided to have just popcorn and homemade natural drink for dinner.

This was how my day went with the food menu for the day. All the meals on this day's menu were healthy and of course beneficial to the body system. Thank you for reading my food diary for 05-09-2024.
