Greetings and welcome to my blog. Am glad to participate in this episode of powerup contest. And before I continue I want to invite @josepha, @pandora2010 and @blessedlife to join the powerup contest.

Powerup is a very important part of our experience in steemit and am glad for an exercise like this that encourages to powerup and hence be able to build our in fluencen in the steemit ecosystem.

Today I participated in the powerup contest by powering up the liquid steem in my wallet. Before the power up, I had 4,365.217 steem power and 281.882 steem.

To start my power up, I logged into my wallet and went to the steem option. I clicked on the drop down arrow under steem and selected powerup options.

I proceeded to put the number of steem I wanted to powerup and that’s 281.882. I had to confirm the power up by clicking the ok button and my power up was successful.

After my powerup, my steem power was brought to 4,647.099.

Powerup is very beneficial to our growth in steemit. When we constantly powerup we gradually increase our steem power which in turn helps to boost our influence in the system.

When we have steem power, we can be able to upvote and support one another without solely depending o the curators. Powering up is what every steemian should hear themselves towards and ensure to participate every now and then.
