Monday brought another opportunity to share the invitation to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ with the community. I was thrilled to be part of the team that volunteered to join forces with my congregation to extend this invitation to the residents of Utine village in Okobo Local Government Area. Despite the scorching sun, we persevered and did our best to execute the invitation.
I'm excited to share a detailed report on how our efforts unfolded, highlighting the experiences and interactions we had with the community. This is how my day unfolded.....

I was awake by 6am as usual to join my Christian family in examining the scriptures. After concluding with a 5 minutes heartfelt prayers, we all departed to our various points of duty. I personally, was assigned to make the environment clean, and dispose some waste. After the disposal and keeping my hands clean, we bought an avocado fruit to eat, while patiently waiting for our breakfast to be ready.

Eating the avocado fruit with my Christian brothers was so fun, because while eating, we engaged in a heartfelt and funny conversation, which makes me really enjoy the sweet fruit. After some minutes, our breakfast (Aditan soup) was served, and after eating, we freshened up, wore our outfit and we headed out to the kingdom, in preparation for the invitation program that's scheduled to start by 9:30am.
On our way to the kingdom hall
After a 30 minutes walk, we arrived at the kingdom hall, and our group oversight, who happens to be my uncle, enlightened us on how we can approach the householders. This includes how we can pet them, and make them see the need of attending the memorial of Jesus Christ, that's scheduled to take place on Saturday, 12th April 2025.

I was paired with a brother, and we all departed to the designated territory which was the village of OTOKO. We visited many houses, and I was impressed to have the hope they gave, that they'll try as much as possible to attend the memorial despite their far destination. Since we're doing a happy and joyous work, when the sun was too hot, we took a break as a team to rehydrate and regain some strength to continue with the mission.
Taking a break to rehydrate and recharge
The break was a welcome respite, filled with moments of laughter, entertainment, and joy. We shared stories and experiences from our field ministry, exchanging insights on how to effectively engage with householders and encourage them to join the Memorial of Jesus Christ. The team spirit and shared purpose made the break a truly enriching experience.
Do you know the most interesting part? You need to see how a father and daughter enjoyed the moment too, by dancing to random music together. I really enjoyed watching the beautiful family having fun, and I'm sure you'll like to watch them have fun too, please watch.....
After spending about 20 minutes to rest, we all felt energized and recharged. So we were given another territory to cover, which was about 1 hour territory mission. With the team spirit together, we all departed, and at last, we completed the designated territory. I was so happy that we could complete the designated territory for the day.
But truth be told, the IROKO village is the biggest in Utine, of which we still have about 5 areas to cover. Though we couldn't complete it today, I'm sure we'll complete it before returning back to our hometown, Uyo. Before departing to our dormitory, Nung Atai Village, I made a video coverage of my Christian family who volunteered to join the invitation in commemoration of Jesus death, and also a video of us heading home to our dormitory, Nung Atai. Please watch the video below.....
Heading to our dormitory, Nung Atai, was another special moments with my Christian family. We laughed, played and shared some memories together. Please pardon me with some slangs of English, it was just for fun😁. After about 30 minutes walk, we finally arrived at Nung Atai, and that was when I gave a sigh relieve.
