Hello Everyone,
Have you ever felt stuck between a rock and a hard surface? On the one hand, there's a dream of financial security, to have a hefty bank account so you don't have to look at anybody for your expenses. On the other hand, there's that deep desire for peace of mind, time, and freedom to do something that makes you happy and truly matters to you.
This week is all about the age-old question, the question we all have been trying to entangle for a long time Money or Peace? Let's find out, Can we really only have one out of these or is there any chance that maybe, maybe we have a slice of both?

There are some bitter realities of life, and we have to accept it by hook or cook. Money is a legitimate need in today's world. I don't know how many of you will go along with me but since childhood, we have given that charm of money. The little children inside us always fascinate our elders just because they have money and they can do whatever they want.
This is the point where money comes first for us. That is the beginning where we develop a thought that having some extra rupees is worth having our quality time. Living in a poor country brings so many challenges along with it. The inflation rate is very high. Nowadays it has become common to earn and earn to pay for a basic living in Pakistan.
There are tons of examples around us, students are giving tuition to earn money instead of paying attention to their studies. Those who are on the job are doing overtime and extra hours to have some more money. We are so drained in offices that our weekends are spent in recovering ourselves instead of exploring and enjoying ourselves.
Anyhow, for any reason but yes we are continuously compromising our mental peace over money. But not for the luxurious life. I have known many families that are striving to earn more and more to fulfill their necessities. We really need to prioritize our mental health over this.

If I talk about earning and spending, my parents have always believed in saving and spending. You can't save every single penny and then beg others. No, this should never be the practice of a wise man. We should always keep a balance in it. I believe that saving is very important we never know when are the rainy days but along with saving you should spend where it's important.
We should never compromise on ourselves. I believe in budgeting. I always set a budget for myself too along with monthly expenses you should fix some amount for yourself too so that you can enjoy what you like the most. After all, you are earning and it's your right to prioritize yourself.
Money never brings happiness alone, you sacrifice your comfort and peace for that. And to be very honest for me money is not happiness. Happiness and peace come from the heart. These papers can fulfill your needs but if not spent wisely they can't bring you peace. Happiness is spending your money on your loved ones and seeing that broad smile on their face.
I am a very low-key person, for me, my peace is my family and my people. I love spending time with them arranging lunches and dinners, gaining presents making plans. For me, peace begins at home. I can spend many days sitting at home relaxing with my cup of coffee.

Hello dear @aniqamashkoor!
It is a really good argument that we should balance our spending and saving. It is important to both enjoy the now and make plans for the future. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
