POWER UP & WIN

I power up once a month. This November, on the 4th, I powered up 67 Steem. Here’s the step-by-step process I followed.

Step 1:

First, I tapped on the three-bar icon on the right side of my mobile screen and selected wallet option. I then entered my username and Steem key to log in.

Step 2:

After logging in, I went to Wallet, where I could see my Steem and Steem Power balance. My initial Steem was 132.475.

Step 3:

To begin the power-up, I tapped on the triangular icon next to Steem, which showed options like Transfer, Transfer to Savings, and Power Up. I selected Power Up.

Step 4:

In the new interface labeled "Convert to Steem Power," I entered the amount I wanted to power up (67 Steem) in the Amount field. The "Power Up" button then became active, and I clicked on it.

Step 5:

	I clicked to ok

A confirmation screen appeared with the label "Confirm Transfer to Vesting." I clicked OK, and the power-up was successfully completed.

After power up my steem power has increased

Now, my balance shows 65.475 Steem (down from 132.475 Steem), and my Steem Power has increased from 1703.783 to 1770.783.

The importance of performing powerup.

It is important for us to power up on the Steemit platform. When powering up our Steem Power grows up, making our profile more strong and giving us more chances to get votes and rewards. This means that we can vote stronger for other's post allowing them to earn more rewards. It also helps us growing our presence on this platform.

Another big reason to power up- it helps to build our reputation. When we convert Steem to Steem Power, it is a binding statement of how committed we are to the platform’s success. It also helps boosting the value of Steem and affect everyone in the community.

It also enables us to support good quality content. This brings a positive impact on the platform and also inspires for other people to write quality posts. This isn’t just good for us, but it’s good for the whole Steemit community to grow.
