Hello everyone, I bring greetings from my space hoping you all are doing great wherever you're. I am indeed excited to participate and share my idea on this topic titled"NY PARENTS MY HERO" indeed they're my hero, with them all things works perfectly fine for me l therefore I have every reason to appreciate their efforts. All thanks to @alfazmalek for organizing such an interesting contest , the Lord bless you and rewards your efforts immensely, I wish us all the very best..

☑️Can you tell us how your parents have contributed to your life?

My parents have contributed immensely in my life that I can't even state them all. but let me speak of few areas;

✓ my parents thought me moral standards, how to avoid decadence in the society, things like stealing, fighting, prostitution amongst others. This lessons stacked to my head that I can't forget in a hurry.

✓ The also thought me how to respect people around me, from greeting my elders to appreciating people who helped me in any way. Also thought me to be loyal and submissive.

✓My parents provided my basic need for life; food, shelter, clothing from my birth to when I could provide them for my self. There was no day I went hungry or lack what to put on. they also provided me with emotional, psychological and moral support. My parent are great people they are so loving and caring.

✓ My parent sponsored my education from nursery school to tertiary institution

✓They thought me how to manage the home and any other institution I find myself.

✓ My parent thought me the ways of the Lord.
I can go on and on, the are numerous that I can't state them all, but all I have to say is I am where I am today and standing strong because of the great investment my parent invested in my life.

☑️How can we repay the favor of our parents?

Actually we cant return the favor or pay them back completely for all the have done, but we can show our appreciation by Sending them gift, placing calls to hear from them time to time, providing support in any area the are in need, paying them visits to keep them company. These will make them happy and prolong their days.

☑️If you are or will become a parent in the future, how will you treat your children?

If I am a parent someday, I will train my children in the way the should go so that they won't depart from it when they grow. I would also provide all their primary and secondary need. furthermore, I would support them in anyway I can to bring out the best in them, one-day they will appreciate all I have done for them. I would be the best version of a parent I ought to be.

I remembered one-day I did something wrong and that was the second time I committed such offense, my mum flogged me and asked me never to do that again, though I was so angry, but I later discovered that it was the best for me at that point and she did that out of love. The point I want to derive here is that discipline is part of training, and it should be put in to consideration when training a child, and it should be done out of love. The bible says "when you spare the rod you spoil the child". Therefore all measures should be put in place to train a child.

Moreso we all need to take out time to appreciate every parent out there, its not easy being a parent and the task can be overwhelming.
Shout out to all the parents out there your efforts are appreciated. We love you 😘
