I would like to join the ‘Power Up’ contest whereby the Hindwhale Community is hosting and it is led by @jyoti-thelight. This week’s contest- HWC Contest #107 || POWERUP & WIN WEEK 67, is in line with the energy and drive that helps us build a stronger Steemit. Let’s dive in.

The amount of steems from your wallet must be used to perform a power-up.

Being an active user of the Steemit platform I make it my priority to power up requisite amounts in order to boost my Steem. For this week, I powered up 100 SP.

You must submit a thorough, screenshotted description of how you did it in order to be eligible.

🔹I logged into my wallet through my steeemit username.

🔹I then moved to the wallet and noticed the “Steem” button that I clicked on. Standing above it, I chose ‘Power Up’ from the top of the screen.

🔹In the power-up field I entered 100 steem to check that all the numbers where correct.

🔹After filling in those entries, I pressed the OK button satisfied that all the information input was correct.

🔹Finally, I pressed the Active key to go to the next step while completing the work. It was easy for me to complete this step, the reasons for authentication were well described.

🔹This way, I was able to power up and, therefore, means the instructions give here were helpful.

To my mind, power-up on Steemit should be performed for a number of reasons. It boosts your power and ability to influence the others in the voting system, to encourage the others. This shows your dedication towards the platform development and improves your index visibility and rating each time you vest liquid Steem for Steem Power. A number of power-ups has rather a strong effect on curation and on the rewards and earnings of authors in particular for regular power-ups. This points to the need of engaging in any active service delivery under the society since the result brings and benefits everyone in the long run.
