Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S11 - W5 : which is all time my favourite topic "Create a handmade gift for your loved ones with your own hands and ideas." So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.

To whom are you giving this item?

Everyone likes gifts very much, it is good to receive gifts and it is also good to give them. When I saw the theme of this contest, I was thinking what should I make that would stand out. Suddenly I remembered the upcoming festival of Rakshabandhan, so I thought, why not make such a gift for my brother keeping Rakshabandhan in mind, when I give it to him, he will be happy to see his sister's creativity. So I decided to decorate coconut shells for my brother. Because on the festival of Rakshabandhan, we sisters tie a rakhi to our brother and give a coconut shell. So, I could not find a better gift than this.

Which special day will you offer him/her?

I will give this gift to my brother on the day of rakshabandhan because rakshabandhan is a festival of love and trust between brothers and sisters. My brother loves handmade things and respects creativity so I thought why not Surprise him by giving this gift on the day of Raksha Bandhan.

I want to share how I made this gift of mine. let's start

Step 1

Material

A Coconut shell
Red velvet fabric
Scissors
Golden Tape or Golden Gota or Pearl Garland
Artificial Flower
Forest brooach
Little thread

Step 2

First of all, we will cut the velvet cloth according to the coconut in such a way that it covers our coconut shell completely and we can easily tie it at all the four corners.

Step 3

After that, when we will cut the cloth, then we will put a coconut shell in it and hold all four corners and tie it with the help of a thread, so that none of its ends open.

After that we will either wrap the golden tape on the thread we have tied or tie it with the help of gold knot. This increases its beauty.

step 5

When the Gota is tied then we will apply artificial flower and golden broach on it. This will add to her beauty.

Our decorated coconut balls are ready. Now I will give this sphere to my brother on the day of Raksha Bandhan.

What makes the gift unique?

Of course, the thing becomes unique to the gift. Because while giving gifts we should always keep in mind that what we are giving. It should be for the use of the recipient of the gift. If you give something that will not be of use to them, then there will be no use of giving your gift, and if you give a gift keeping in mind their use and their choice, then the happiness on their face while taking the remedy will be all yours. Will make hard work successful.

That's why such a gift should always be given which is of the person's choice and can also be used in his work.

When a gift is made by hand, then the value of that gift becomes priceless. That object connects many memories with itself.
