Hello my steemit friends, I hope you all are doing very well and are having a great time. I am Abhishek Pandey. I am from India and I live in Jamshedpur. I thank the hind whale community for organizing such a good contest. Many people will learn from your ideas who do not understand the same thing. This will send a good message to many people through which everyone will be able to express their views on why gender should be a respect. We should give both as much respect as we give to one. Both are important for us.I am going to share my views with you all as to why it is important to have gender respect because we see that one gets as much respect and value as the other does not get, but I believe that both deserve respect because they are also as capable as we see in life.

If seen, both are equally capable. If seen, this world cannot be run by just one person. Be it female or male, both are equally needed in life. Just like a fish cannot survive without water, similarly, it is important to have both genders. Now, in your time, females do more than what males can do. In today's time, they are ahead in everything, still they do not get that much respect.

What does gender equality entail, and what are the advantages?

• Both are interdependent. Like whatever work a man can do, he can also do it. If seen from each other, both are quite intelligent. I will give some examples. We see that a woman can do the housework very well, a man can also do it like nowadays along with doing the outside work, both of them together handle the housework as well. With this partnership, your house looks very good. If seen from our point of view, there is no difference between the two.

There are a lot of benefits of this like none of the two will be dependent on the other, both are capable of their work, like in our India many people say that this man can do it, the girl cannot, so we have to end this thinking and show that both have respect, if there is a home, office or the whole world, it will not work, that's why we need both.

Is gender equality crucial for all people, not just women?

• It is not only beneficial for women, it is beneficial for everyone. If we give respect and honour to everyone, only then will our country progress and at the same time people's thinking will also progress and the coming generation will also learn something good from it.
It is my opinion that everyone should move forward and we cannot judge anyone on the basis of their gender because everyone has their own qualities. It is not necessary that both can do each other's work. According to me, both are as important as a car and a two-wheeler. In life, we should not forget that we are humans and gender comes later. First, we should fulfill our duty as humans.

What are your thoughts on gender equality, specifically concerning the circumstances in your country?

• In our India, there are good as well as bad to some extent. Some old people think that there is a lot of difference between a man and a woman because what a man can do, a woman cannot do. I believe this thinking that yes, she cannot do it, but if seen, a woman is more capable than a man in everything. I am not saying that a woman is less or more than anyone here, but I want to say that people think that a woman cannot handle as much as a man can, but people forget that a woman can handle the most. For example, in our India, people used to get married at a very young age, but now this does not happen, but earlier it used to happen, she used to take care of the entire household from a young age, even then people say that she is not capable, but according to me this is wrong. As capable as she is, we are probably that much too, but now a lot has changed in our India, now both get equal respect.

How to educate our children to understand this issue?

• At present, we will teach our children that both are very important and understanding gender equality is a very important thing for our children to understand. This modern time technology has advanced so much that now there is no discrimination in time. Now the world has advanced a lot and our children will also understand this thing.
