"Steemit Engagement Challenge S13/W4- “What was your favorite subject in high school?"

Hello Everyone!
After a long time here, I am trying to be active in "Steemit Engagement Challenge" and this is my 3rd post in this week challenge.

Tell us how your favourite subject made learning effortless for you.

Most of the students have fear about mathematics, but in my student life my favourite subject was Maths. I do love to play with maths and never fear about it. I think Maths is a subject which helps not only in different subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Commerce etc but also helpful in managing finance, improve analytical skill, cooking etc. Due to my passion in Maths, I do feel comfortable in my other subjects like Physics and Chemistry.

There are major four branches of mathematics viz. algebra, number theory, arithmetic, and geometry. Out of that algebra was my most favourite.

Maths is a universal language, and it not only help us to get success but also its principle and laws are evident throughout the world, including in nature.

Did you always manage to get good marks in your favourite subject, or did you face any hardship at any particular time?

Yes, maximum time I scored good marks(90-100%) in my favourite subject Maths. Maths is not only about scoring good marks in academics but also helped me a lot in qualifying other competitive exams. After high school I wanted to join engineering stream but due to some reasons I took admission in pharmacy. Maths was one of the subject in 1st year and I scored highest in the class without any extra efforts while others who afraid of maths couldn't do well in the subject. Maths is not a subject we should be afraid, we must enjoy and play with maths to get comfortable with it.
No, I never faced any difficult time in maths, neither in my student life nor in professional life.

Are there any other subjects that you like too?

Yes, I do like other subject like my mother tong Hindi. In this subject, I also used to score good. From my childhood I used to write articles and stories in Hindi. Some articles were also published in newspaper when I was in my teenage.

Do you help your children or siblings in their favourite subjects?

Now my son is in 9th grade and in the era of internet any problem can be solved immediately with the help of that, but I always enjoy helping him to solve his problems related to maths in any subject. I told him to ask me 1st before Google to solve any maths problem. When I indulge in his problem-solving, I remember my school days. Although the standard of maths and level of sum also improved, but I always enjoy and have fun to solve any maths problem.

Finally, is there any role of your favourite subject in your present-day life?

Of course yes! As I said earlier in the post that maths help us in every aspect of life and in day to day life. Nowadays, I indulge in trading business and maths help me get understand the concept and calculation faster. Recently I passed pharmacist licencing exam for Oman and I can say that due to the calculation part of the exam I could pass it as I got above 90% in calculation part of the exam.
