Fellow Champions in the house, hope you guys are doing good? It's week 4 power up challenge organized by @jyoti-thelight and am happy for the progress we are making so far. At least, 2000 Steem power has been generated for this 3 weeks. If we continue with it, we are going to benefit ourselves and help strengthen the Steemit ecosystem. It's very easy to do so long as you have all your Steemit keys saved. What you need to do is to copy your private active key. Then, log in to your Steemit wallet. As soon as it opens, look closely at your liquid Steem and tap on the small down arrow there. Then, on the options shown, select power up. Yeah! Remember to save your keys once it opens so that in your next power up, you don't need to copy and paste the key again.

Now put the amount of Steem you want to power up in the second dashboard and click power up. Your active key will be required here as well that's why you need to save it. Just tap on it once you are required to do so. It will pup up itself. Though mine doesn't pup up again because it has been accustomed by my phone.

Her is final stage. All you need to do now is to confirm by clicking on Ok once that is done, you have completed your transactions.

Total of 10 Steem was powered up by me. Is there any advantages of power up?? Yes, let's see some of them.

It helps us to increase our steem power and there by support other steemians with reasonable up vote. It also helps us to gain reputations and attract curators on our blog. Power up is a way to make Steem coin scarce in the market and help to increase the price. Because when plenty of Steem is being dumped in the market due to too much cash out, it will affect the price drastically.

Their is what we known as curation rewards. It's only for those who have enough steem power. Because Steemit is a win win platform. If we have enough steem power to support others, we ain curation rewards. Remember 2k Steem power can only give #l$0.01. that means, if we can accumulate thousands of it, it's for our own benefits. If you can Steem power can give out $5 votes or more, you are at gain because you ain 50% reward as soon as the post pays out.
