It’s an extreme pleasure to once again join the Weekly Power Up contest organized by friend, @jyoti-thelight. Eventhough this should be a regular habit, I often forget to participate. So, this contest is a nice reminder!

There are 3 questions here! What? How and Why?

Well, in Steemit Power up means converting our liquid steem in the wallets to Steem Power. Just like we transfer our liquid cash into a fixed deposit in a bank. Here we receive the benefit of this investment in many ways and to convert them back to the earlier format it takes up to a month. But don’t worry, when you know the benefits you’ll understand it’s worth the wait!

Why Should We Power Up?

The main thing is this directly helps our account growth. We were here from zero and through commitment, dedication, and hard work we stabilized and grew our account. And it shows our contribution to the community which will result in being a reputed steemians step by step as well.

And also, with high Steem power, we can have a high voting value. Not only we can use it to support other quality posts but also we will receive a higher curation reward. Or else we can delegate SP to the favorite communities and make them self-sufficient communities.

Other than that some important roles like Steem representatives, curators, or moderators require a specific amount of Steem Power, as it shows our trueness to the community. So, unlocking these regular powerups will help.

Furthermore, on a large scale, this will help to stabilize steem price, and if you are positive about Steem's future this will be a good investment.
