Greetings, friends! How are you all? I hope you are all doing well. So, let’s begin today’s diary.
Today, my friends and I were supposed to go to Rajasthan because my closest friend from the office, Dhwani, is getting married.
Dhwani used to work in our office, and she was very dear to everyone. She used to get along with everyone and became a very special friend of mine as well. She invited some of our office friends to her wedding, so we all made a plan to go.
We left home at 5 AM in the morning and reached the office parking lot because Parth was supposed to pick us up in his car. Parth was already waiting for us in the parking lot. Once we arrived there, we first went to have breakfast—tea and maska bun.

Then we left for the wedding venue. Our car was speeding up, and we had to cover a journey of 200 km. We played good music in the car and started chatting with each other as we drove.
For me, traveling from Ahmedabad to the Parton was a completely new experience, so I didn’t want to miss the views around me. My eyes were constantly looking outside, and I admired the Sabarmati River and the small forests along the way. I kept asking my friends about them as we passed by.
After driving for around 100 km, we decided to stop for a while, took a break, drank some water, and then continued our journey.

As the journey continued, let me tell you Dhwani’s story. She is the only daughter in her family, and she decided to marry her classmate. They had been dating for two years, and finally, they both decided to get married. And today, she is going to tie the knot.

We reached the location in about two hours, where two of our office friends, Vidhi and Pratibha, were already present. We called them to ask if they could come to pick us up because the area was quite large. They came to get us, and we all met before heading inside, where Dhwani’s photoshoot was happening. She looked just like a doll. We went up to her and greeted her.
After a while, we had some refreshments and met Dhwani’s parents. They welcomed us warmly, and we touched their feet to seek their blessings.
The wedding ceremony started, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Once the wedding concluded, we all went together for dinner, which was absolutely delicious.

Then came the time for the vidaai (farewell ceremony), where Dhwani was about to leave for her husband’s house. We bid her a cheerful goodbye, showered her with heartfelt wedding wishes, and with that, we also set off on our journey back home.
So, this was a small journey of my friend’s wedding. I hope you liked it. See you in the next diary!
