Greetings, friends! How are you all? I hope everyone is doing well and writing their posts regularly. So, let's start today's diary.
As you know, I haven't been able to post on this platform for almost three weeks. There's so much to write about, but in the past few days, my friend's family faced some difficulties, and I was busy helping them. I believe that while many people are there for you during good times, those who stand by you in tough times are your true friends and companions.
First, let me wish you all a very Happy New Year and extend my heartfelt wishes to you and your families for a prosperous and joyous year ahead. I hope you all remain connected with us on this platform just as you have been.
Now, let me take you on a journey to Ayodhya, as I mentioned in my earlier posts that I visited Ram Janmabhoomi in December of the previous year. The construction of the new Shri Ram Temple has now been completed, which was stalled for a long time. Although I have been to Ayodhya several times before because my college was there, my friends and I always considered Ram Mandir to be one of the best places for a short trip.
The Journey Begins by eating Gobi(Cauliflower )Pakora 🥲
One morning, I was sipping tea with my family when my mother suddenly suggested that since Deepak was home, we should plan a visit to Ayodhya to seek blessings from Shri Ram. Everyone agreed, and we quickly prepared for the trip to Ayodhya.
Let me tell you that in India, all religions are respected. Among these, Hinduism is one of the major religions with numerous ancient stories and traditions that strengthen the faith and unity among us. Shri Ram is one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. His teachings and ideals are not only followed by Hindus but also respected by people of various faiths.
With this spirit, we began our trip to the holy city of Ayodhya. After savoring our morning tea, everyone got ready quickly. We left home at around 2 PM since we had to carry essential items for the young children accompanying us. With a chant of "Jai Shri Ram," I started the car, and we set off.
I was driving, and my father was seated beside me, guiding me along the way. After driving for about 150 km, we stopped to have some snacks and water before resuming our journey. Later, I switched places with my brother, who took over the driving for the next stretch. After about two hours, we finally entered the city of Ayodhya.
Ayodhya: A Transformed City
When I reached Ayodhya, the city looked completely transformed compared to my last visit five years ago. Now, in 2024, the city appeared much more developed, especially the beautifully decorated corridor, which was an enchanting sight.
We entered the corridor and parked the car in a designated area. Since it was 8 PM by the time we arrived, the temple was about to close, so we quickly headed to Hanuman Garhi Temple first. We offered prayers and took prasad there before proceeding toward the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.
At the temple entrance, we had to store our belongings in lockers because mobile phones are not allowed inside. It took us around 30 minutes to reach the main entrance of the temple, but the view there was breathtaking. The entire place exuded positivity and felt like a hub of divine energy.
The Temple Visit
After having darshan (a spiritual view of the deity), we received prasad, and my father made a donation to the temple trust. Once outside, we took several pictures to capture the memories.
After visiting the temple, we came outside and had a meal at the excellent restaurants in the corridor. After finishing the meal, I brought the car near the restaurant in a little while, and shortly after, we all left for home.
Finally, at around 2 AM, we reached home. We had some warm tea and then went to our respective rooms to sleep.
This was our memorable trip to Ayodhya. I'll see you soon with my next diary entry. Until then, take care!
