Steemit Engagement Challenge Season-19/ Week-4 | " What can you do for your friendship on Friendship Day? "

Hello steemain friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day? Today I will be participating in the steemit engagement challenge season 19 week4 which is title "What can you do for your friendship on Friendship Day? "

Having a friend is a very special and wonderful thing because like they say a man is not an island which is to say that we must associate and make friends with others for the purpose of collective growth and merryment.

And in this case depending on the type of kind of friends you have they are so many things you can offer them on friendship day

As for me I met a man once in my oga's house he's an engineer and I don't even know his name and most importantly I knew that he was going to come back real soon and couple with my love for engineering which of course I was an engineering student and my course Building technology

So I decided to surprise the engineer with a nice and wonderful portrait drawing which tutorial will be shown below 👇;

Step 1

In the first step I started with sketching out the man's face on my white card board, and to me this is always the most difficult part but if you get it right that means you will present a wonderful piece.

So after sketching the man's face I then started shading it out slowly and showing places that are appropriate for shade and highlights

As seen already I have finished up with the forehead and already moving towards the eyes and the lens which he's wearing in a gently and steady manner.

Step 3

After finishing off with the eyes I then proceeded to shading the full face of the man though it took me some couple of days but finally I'd succeeded in getting his face right.

In this final step I had finished up with his face then went ahead to his neck as well as his clothes and after that finally the background of the picture to make it look nice and presentable because leaving it to be pure white won't make sense at all.

And after that as you can see the art work was fully ready to be presented then I went ahead and put a frame on it, in the above you can see the real picture of the man as well as my finished work I'd really tried to get it right though with small mistakes.

And after that he came just a day after I'd finished the drawing unknowingly I presented the art work to him and he was very happy he even gave me some cash and accepted the drawing with open arms.
