INTRODUCTION
Hello friends, how is everyone doing? I hope you guys are fine qnd enjoying your weekend.
This is a very nice and interesting contestin the @hindwhale community, and it is my pleasure to be a part of it, the theme of the contest is *Story Behind my Country Flag", and i will be discussing about my country flag by following the cintest tips.
STORY BEHIND THE DESIGN OF NIGERIAN FLAG
The Nigerian flag was created and design by Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi in 1959, Nigeria was being colonized by British, so as time goes Nigeria held a competition in other for them to choose their own flag.
Over 2000 people participated and droped their individual designs, and among all the 2000 entries Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi's design was choosen to be used as the Nigerian flag.

The Nigerian flag is made up of two different colors, which is green and white then green again, and the green stands for agricultural wealth, while the white color stands for peace.
The green color in the Nigerian flag can also be explained as the country's lush vegetation and hope for a brighter future, while the white color means that peace and unity should exist among the people.
The Nigerian flag was raised on the 1st of October, 1960, which was the day Nigeria gained independence and become a sovereign nation.
And ever since the Nigerian flag has become the symbol of unity and national pride.
WHAT WAS THE MEANING OF THE SYMBOLS THAT USE IN YOUR COUNTRY FLAG?
The Nigerian flag doesn't have any logo, symbols or any design on it, it is just green white and green.
And as earlier said, the only thing that is in the Nigerian flag is jus the two colors which is the green and white.
The green color stands for agriculture, while the white color stands for peace and unity.

During 2018, my country team(super eagles) played a match with cameroon at the Godswill Akpabio international Stadium in uyo, akwa ibom state, Nigeria and won 4-0, i was present in the stadium and after the match i was so happy and i carried out country flag and wave it in the air singing the super eagles song.
