What are the most popular employment in your country?

In my country there are people with different skills, and unemployment is everywhere, from my look of things the popular employment is sales rep (sales girl and sales boy) the ratio at which private sector employs this set of people is higher than government employment. It is the easy found job with least or minimal pay. This is the reason we have massive NUM of unemployed youths in Nigeria.

Our government is very poor in recruiting the youth to brighten their future.

My reasons/examples of choosing this set of job as the most popular job in my country

It is very easy to find it's advert are done regularly, least paid and it is everywhere.

Majority of supermarket won't employs marketers or people from that field to sale.

In the pharmacy and private clinics/hospital pharmacy pharmacy technician, nurses or community health practitioners won't be employed to help sale drugs and give professional care to patients they rather employs someone with no experience in the field to sell drugs. Locally they are known as sales girl or boy. It is very sad to know that majority of private clinics in my country do not have certified nurses, they used people they trained on nurses duties.

This method of employment is really affecting both people who study in that field and the patient buying drugs as wrong medication is mostly prescribed and dispensed by a sales girl or sales boy.

In private nursery schools; it affects this pupils as they employes teachers who are not experience or even certified to teach.

All this greedy act is done so as not to spend much paying salary and as the result they go for people who will be paid less to still do the work they need even in a wrong way.

Do you believe "AI" will help or create problems in the job market?

Working with passion full of love and care

It will create problem in the job market. My own reasons of saying this is because more youths will be left with unemployment and there will still be problems.

Not all fields need AI, my field in particular do not need AI to communicate with patients and think like human, be sympathetic with patients. I don't think AI can do anything related to medicals if there is some department it can work on maybe I don't know🤷

Lives will be lost enough if using AI in hospitals, any mistake done in the hospital irrespective of any department cost life and so it is very important to be very careful while dealing with life.

How to reduce rising unemployment

• In this my country it will be good to be sure that people are retired on time and they must leave the office so that another person can take over.

• Discrimination when it comes to certification should be removed.

• Employing according to skill accquired.

• Opening more jobs opportunity by the government

• Creating and renovations of companies, schools, hospitals will really help in employing more hands to work there.

• Allocating of grants for empowerment of businesses

• Creating a standard and regular skilled acquisition for the youths to learn more skills so as to be creative and empower their creative work.

If the government of Nigeria will be able to this, then Nigeria would be a place people travel in for tourism and work.
