Steemit Engagement Challenge - S13/W3 - How SEC Improved Engagement In The Steemit Platform?

I'm very glad to be a proud Steemian for the past few months with my journey and adventure here on Steemit. I must say that this platform is at it peak and one of it's kind. My warmest greetings to all members of the @hindwale community and the esteemed admins and moderators.
The Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC) has been over the years, a successful initiative that has improved the platform alot. So as a newbie I'll be sharing my opinion on the theme "How SEC has improved Engagement In the steemit platform?" proposed for the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 13 week 3 in this community. Let's go 🚀🚀...

As i earlier mentioned, I am a newbie to this platform who just started in the month of July 2023. Although from my research and answered questions from my dear Mentor I was told that the platform was focused on rewarding users who created quality contents. Back then, there was an initiative that was brought upon for users to participate which was called the The Diary Game. The diary game was a popular, successful initiative even on to this moment. Steemian created contents based on their personal creativity, the diary game food and DIY (do it yourself).

But at that time the engagement between Users was close to a 5% which Is bad until the introduction of the Steemit Engagement Challenge two years ago which has gracefully gotten to it 13th season.

Kudos to the Steemit team @steemitblog for this great initiative that has shaped the platform activities. The Steemit Engagement Challenge has brought many changes on the platform such as

• Engagement: This is the sole aim of SEC when it was introduced. The engagement on Steemit was low that was why I think the team came up with this thought. Every steemians who participate in the engagement challenge now find time to engage with other users by providing encouraging and valuable comments on their post and other upvotes. Leaving comments on posts related to the Engagement Challenge is one of the major criteria for winning. I think the motto of SEC should be "Engage and earn support/rewards ☺️"...
• Visibility, reputation and Steem Power: When Users engage with other they become visible to the community curators which has assigned to support quality contents/comments. While the support is given the earnings will increase and the Steem Power will be inclusive..... In reputation, steemians constantly create schedule to publish contents on the Steemit Engagement Challenge from the seven seasonal nominated communities which has increased our reputation and that of the community because of constant post being published...

To be sincere, I only participate in at least two of the seven weekly engagement challenge. Well it isn't my fault because I try my best to attend to other contest in other communities and pay attention to my outside world with activities like school and work .. But I know that with time I'll be able to participate in a maximum of 5 of the seven weekly engagement challenge...

The Steemit Engagement Challenge has greatly impacted my journey here on Steemit, because I have been able to learn new Things, meet new users and get recognized on the platform when I tend to win the challenge with the help of God Almighty and also when I give valuable feedbacks on people's publications. Also, SEC has made me grow more Enthusiasm towards creating contents on the platform by adhering to the rules and engage with other Users. I believe that I'm not the only one who had been involved to be impacted but even you reading this now!

To sum it all up, the engagement challenge is one thing that helped me to achieve my current status in Steemit today. The engagement, the support and rewards are worth being grateful to the Steemit team for this successful initiative over the years which will eventually stay for long. I urge every user to become more engaged with other users so as to build a well organized and envious decentralized social media platform....
