How does parenting affect child behaviour? Is there any correlation between them?

The issue of parenting is very important in molding a child’s behavior and development It has also emerged that there is a very close relationship between the particular style of parenting that is used and the behavior of the child. So research has determined that various approaches to parenting will result in varied consequences regarding child behavior and emotional health, as well as general development.

It is found that authoritative parenting that involves warmth, responsivity, and clear but not restrictive structures leads to the desirable consequences for the children. According to the study of Baumrind, youngsters who are grown up under authoritative parents are well-mannered, having high self-esteem, well mannered, and can control theirkelmbarg societies.

And when parents are highly warm and low on control, parents are said to be permissive and this leads to children who may not know how to govern or control themselves when the opportunity arises.

The lack of parental care where parents barely pay attention to their child and his or her needs poses detrimental effects on the child education and behavior manifesting signs of low self-esteem, poor performance, and emotional problems.

Is parenting alone responsible for child behavior or are there any other factors too? What are they? Explain.

Parenting clearly makes a difference in how children behave, but it is not everything. Many additional things also play a role in the way we act, like:

  1. Because of Genes-If you want to know the reason why children always follows their parents at any edge and phase then let me clarify by saying this is one thing happening them in every segment those who go by opening it they meant orntend [either], as known that genes are opposite to use which passes their surrounding with Loadternal relatives also called a buffer nesteo create. Any of these genes may influence how a child behaves, his or her personality and aptitude for certain traits that create risk for ADHD

  2. Impact of peer influence: The friends and peers a child moves around with has got everything to do with the way they behave. However, children are extremely suggestible and the way in which their friends act or think may encourage a child too.

  3. The quality of the school: The overall values, standards and behavioral expectations in a child's classroom can similarly impact his or her behavior.

  4. Societal and Technological: The media, including television, movies, video games and social media can also contribute to the behavior of a child What a child watches can have an impact on how they act and what ideas are embedded in their heads.

  5. SES: Youth with low SES families are more likely to have behavioral issues. Poverty, parent stress and other resources impact how children behave/how they cope with challenges.

Conclusion: Therefore, when trying to determine a child's behaviors(parenting) that there are other influences and these include genetics of the parents, peer relationships school environment media exposure socioeconomic factors individual differences within each person.

Can we change a child’s behaviour after they are grown up?

Yes to me I will say it's really possible to influence a grown child's behavior, but to be honest will be more challenging compared to when they were younger yes as adults, individuals have autonomy and make their own decisions so however, you can still positively impact their behavior through open communication, setting boundaries, offering support, and being a positive role model.

So It's essential to approach the situation with empathy, understanding, and also patience in conclusion to this while you can provide guidance and support, the individual ultimately has the power to make their own choices and change their behavior.

Thanks for reading i hope you enjoyed it I'm inviting @josepha ,@m-fdo and @aviral123 to participate in this contest.
