My Parents My Hero by @entity01

Greetings everyone.

Can you tell us how your parents have contributed to your life?

My father and my mother are the people who have done as much for me as my parents and everything from bringing me to school and making sure I got an education to instilling vital values and moral in me made me who I am today. It has been my honour to have them supporting me during my successes and also during the tough time. My parents have embraced me in every aspect of my life and shape me into what I have become today and I really appreciate them for tolerating and supporting me throughout life and always believing in me.

How can we repay the favor of our parents?

To me i think it is impossible to repay our parents all the love they have showered on us but the only thing that can be done is through love, respect, and gratitude. We can express gratitude to them through listening to their knowledge, supporting them when they are in need and acknowledge the things they do for us, One can give back by catering for their needs as they grow old, engaging with them regularly and even showering them with love.

And this is why repaying and placing joy and pride in them through our achievements is actually a way of repaying them for what they have done for us and for bearing the kind of values we have got so love and respect that we shows to our parents can be repaid in the only way possible by our successful and righteous life. Dedication of quality time and efforts can never be enough to pay off the gift that our parents have given to us in our lives and we should always shower them with love and care.

If you are or will become a parent in the future, how will you treat your children?

In the future when I have my own children, I will always love, care and respect my children and I will put their needs first, guide and help them develop their passion and ensure they have the right climate that enhances their growth. I shall hear and help them make good decisions, and remind them of the importance of going after what they love.

Also I will be a friend, a cheerleader, a companion in the good times and also a counsellor in the bad times, shoulder to cry on, confidant and a lot more and on top of all of these, I will educate them on being kindhearted, compassionate, and to persevere so that they will grow being responsible and compassionate citizens of my country.
