I'm true steemian on steemit.

Steemit is one platform I regret I haven't heard of for the past 4–5 years. How painful I feel whenever I realise this is unquantified. But nevertheless, I'm grateful that I finally got to know about it and also join the platform. I appreciate @alfazmalek for organising this beautiful contest. Greetings to my fellow steemians, let's begin.

I signed up on steemit on September 2023. I'll be a year on steemit precisely on the 24th September when I finally wrote My Introductory post. It was my students in school who introduced me to steemit @fortwise09 and her brother introduced me to their mother @ngoenyi who helped me open the account and also put me through the platform.

Why did I join Steemit? I was told I could write and get paid. According to them, it was a social media platform but completely different from the ones I knew. I was interested because I've been involved in writing and getting paid for scooper online news, so I thought I could do the same on steemit. So, I decided to join, write and got paid like they said. It's a genuine platform and not a scam.

• A lot has changed. From my use of English to becoming more of a researcher. Most times, I'll see a particular English word that I'm not familiar with or don't know the meaning. I'll quickly check my dictionary or Google to find the meaning. It has helped me to improve my written and spoken English.

• I have also become a photographer since I joined steemit. I take pictures of every moment and event. I'm more of a broadcaster than just a photographer because I don't just take pictures, I also write about them.

• Steemit has made me intentional about everything I see and come across. It keeps me reasoning and thinking out of the box, that's why I engage in most of the contests to share my views and also learn from others.

• I'm a better person because I've learnt a lot from people's posts. That's from health tips and more on my personality, family, finance, education and other aspects of my life.

• I've also met great and wonderful people on steemit all over the world. These people inspire me through their posts and commitment to the steemit platform. I'm richer in knowledge and people than I was or would've been if not for steemit.

I try my best to Power up as much as possible. I intend join club75 before the end of this year. And then, I've been so much on engagement on people's posts on a daily basis to maintain my relationship with steemit.

Since I joined steemit, I've invited not fewer than 7 people, which two @deelyt and @atimisaac are following gradually. I try my best to explain to as many people as possible to join steemit and also sign them up if they're willing to.

My goal is to achieve as many dolphins as possible. My plan is not just to stop my journey on the way, that's why I write as much as possible almost on a daily basis, engage on other people's posts and in due course, I intend to buy and investing in Steem.

Steemit, as long as it exists, is a top-notch program on my agenda. I haven't thought about backing out or pausing as long as I'm strong and in good health.
