Power up on Steemit is an important part of strengthening the strength of an account. By routinely doing Steem power up, the Steem Power (SP) that we have will increase and the voting value will also increase. If the Steem power we have is sufficient, it will be useful to support other users with the help of votes. The purpose of supporting other users on Steemit is of course to motivate them to participate more actively with quality posts. Motivation is very important for the progress of an account, especially for new users.
If not with fellow users who support each other, it will be difficult to develop. Just with small steps I am sure will motivate other users to advance on this platform. Therefore, it is very important to maintain the motivation of new users, one of which is by supporting them with upvotes. Another advantage that can be obtained from power up is getting back the curation reward, which is the reward we get from voting. In this way we get double benefits, the first is we invest by strengthening our own account and when we upvote other users' accounts then we will get the curation reward. We get this reward with the help of Steem Power.
Now let's move on to the steps in doing Steem Power Up. I have 41,818 Steem in my wallet before doing today's power up.
After entering the wallet, I select the power up option so that the amount of Steem that I will power up appears.
The power up steps that I took have been completed and now it can be seen in the wallet that the amount of Steem Power has increased from the original 3149.519 SP to 3191.337 Steem Power.
These are the steps to power up steem that I took this time. Hopefully the power up and small contribution that I made can have a positive impact on the development of steemit and increase the strength of my personal account. Hopefully in the future I can contribute to helping other users.
