Hello greetings to all steemians friends wherever they are, how are you today? Hopefully everyone is still in good health and can carry out all activities well. On this occasion I am back to participate in a contest held by the Hindwhale community in the Season 11 Week 2 Steemit Engagement Challenge with the contest theme: What you did on your last trip
Talking about travel, especially travel, is certainly very interesting to discuss. Most people are very happy to travel to a very interesting place. Various places are always an attraction to visit with family and friends. For me, when traveling, especially to tourist attractions, it is more pleasant and comfortable if I do it with my beloved family. But on this occasion I will not tell you about ordinary tourism, but I will tell you about a religious tourism trip that I did one month ago with my beloved wife.
Some time ago my wife and I made our last journey from our beloved homeland to the holy land in Saudi Arabia. We did this religious trip in order to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam, the Hajj. Hajj is the destination for almost all Muslims around the world. The two holy cities that are the destination of the pilgrimage are the City of Makkah and the City of Medina. In contrast to decades ago, to make this noble journey, Muslims must wait up to thirty years to be able to go to the holy land. The purpose of my trip and my family is only to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam. In addition to worship, I can also enjoy various charms in the country of Saudi Arabia which is rich in natural products.
My religious journey at that time with my beloved wife after waiting for almost 12 years since registering in 2011. However, on this trip we departed with around 400 pilgrims from Lhokseumawe City and Pidie Regency who were members of the BTJ 04 flight group. We departed from our hometown on Thursday, May 25 2023 by bus transportation Putra Pelangi to the Banda Aceh Hajj hostel. The night trip covers about 270 km and takes about 5 hours and arrives at dawn.
After a day of following various inspections according to procedures, on Saturday dawn we departed for Medina airport via Sultan Iskandar Muda airport, Banda Aceh. Meanwhile, the trip we took from SIM Airport to Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medina International Airport took more than 7 hours by Garuda Indonesia plane. Arriving at the airport, we were immediately taken to the hotel where we stayed for 8 days in the city of Medina, which is very close to the Prophet's Mosque.
During the eight days in Medina we carried out various very enjoyable worship activities to get closer to Allah SWT. I try to always perform fardhu prayers in congregation at the Nabawi mosque. The congregation and I also perform various other circumcision services, including pilgrimages to various historical sites. The activities that I do require a lot of energy, but it makes me very happy. On the sidelines of my worship activities, I also make my heart happy by looking at the various products sold around the mosque.
Worship trips to the holy land are carried out by Muslims from various countries around the world. All gathered in the cities of Medina and Mecca at one time so that various cultures and characteristics and behavior blended into one. Each other is required to be able to respect every difference in culture and character in the holy land. All the cultures brought by the pilgrims can blend with the local culture in the destination country. While traveling to the holy land, I can also mingle with the culture in Medina and Makkah.
Speaking of food, I am a person who can adapt to any type of food. So there were no problems whatsoever as long as I was worshiping in the holy land. I can enjoy all the food served without problems. Although I admit there is a slightly different taste from the taste of the food I usually consume. Besides praying which is the main goal of the trip, I also use my free time to shop for souvenirs that I will share with my relatives and colleagues.
I also invite friends @wilmer1988, @pelon53, @goodybest, @suboohi, @patjewell, @malikusman, @inspiracion, @kouba01, @chant and others to join this contest.

Awh how nice! Judging from the photos and what you have written, it seems like you had a good trip that was enjoyed to the fullest.
I do believe that is how a holiday should be, to explore everything. I also like to visit old historical sites.
Good luck with the contest.
