Steemit Engagement Challenge S6/W6 - What will you do to celebrate the New Year in 2023, and how do you typically do that each year?

Good day friends,
I want to use this privileged to participate in this wonderful contest and also want to appreciate the organizer of this contest and as well wishing all steemians happy new year in advance.

Routines and rituals you usually follow during New Year celebrations.

This is everybody dreams to witness new year day. It is a period of celebration where people will be thankful, grateful and delightful to God for witnessing another fresh year with the thought of dispite all the challenges of life.

Firstly, I do want to church for this celebration of new year which always begin in the church all- night program always start around 9:00 or 10:00 pm. But I do always like to go around 8:00pm because I'm among the instrumental department, so we have to go on time to make sure everything about music department is all at set.

Secondly, I do like to be fully prepared for the all- night program which is also called cross over night. I won't allow any side distraction during the prayer and worship time to ensure more blessings of the Lord in 2023.

finally, I do share my testimonies and special song these very day. All that God has led me from January to December.

Cultural activates organised in the celebrations.

On this special day, cultural activities in my home town is based on your talent and this is always organized by the elders in my community which always begin in the afternoon time. People will come out to display their various talent one after the other. though these exhibition is been split according to your talent department we have cultural dancers, football, and races as well other activities.
I do join the football department. In this department we all will display different kinds of dribbling style and at the end of the day they will called the winner of each department from 1st to the last position.

Foods served during the celebrations.

On this very special occasion, there are varieties of food to eat and people will enjoy their self to the fullest. This is the most reason why people would always like to witness this occasion.
In additionally, those people that will take 1st, 2nd and 3rd position will be given plenty food items and gifts.
All the foods is been sponer by all rich people in my community.

Decorations of the New year celebrations.

In decorations of this special occasion in my hometown will be where the exhibition will take place at the community town hall. Where different decorations styles is be reason by the decorators in my community for the best that would be suitable for the occasion.

Conclusion.

In conclusion, The new year celebration is one of unforgettable moment I love so much in my home town and I do hope these special day to come every year
