I bring you warmth greetings from my own part of the world Nigeria, I'm so delighted to participate on this amazing contest titled: "My Best Travel Companion", organised by @abdullahw2 in Hindwhale Community.
Who is your best travel companion? Tell us why he/she best for you? |

My first lover,,and my sweet mum,,my best travel companion.
My best travel companion is non other than my first lover (My Mother🥰). I love moving out or traveling around with her from time to time because, she's the nicest person to me compared to other people's I've ever travelled with, I usually relate my feelings to her whenever we are traveling together and she always listens to me, when I'm having issues we talked together, she encouraged me and is sorted (I called her my counsellor) then we laughed together.
Another thing is that, travelling with my mum is one of my best adventures ever, because she often describes places for me incase I don't know about the place we've entered, their customs and traditions she'll explain them to me especially the kind of food they eat and clothes worn by the indigenous people there. And not just that, whatever good things that the hawkers are selling she also buys them for me to try it, mother's are surely the best, so I consider her as my best travel companion.

Just like I have earlier stated, my mum as my best travel companion because she usually explains places we go to, she answers my question out of curiosity especially about natural things I got my eyes on and the places she doesn't know she'll ask the drivers because I'm a bit shy, after which she will explain everything in details for me, because of that it enhances my travel experiences.
Learning new things while travelling with her, travelling with makes me to learn a lot and be able to share my experiences with my friends and family concerning the places I've visited which I know they would be eager to listen too.

The moment I enjoyed must with my mum who's my best travel companion was when we wanted to travel to the country side, we had to wake up early that morning, my mum made sure I had dressed fine before we took off to the park, while at the park, we saw different buses there, stuffing people, luggages into it, just like ours was done, I had already began thirsty, as if my mum read my mind and bought me a cold water which I gulped at once.
Later we were in the car we saw beautiful trees, statures of our past heroes and my mother explained them all to me, what they represented and so many other things that are innumerable, we had different snacks and drinks and all that, describing my travel with my mum is something that can contend many pages which cannot be put all into words, but this is just a summary of my events with her.
What qualities do you think make someone or something a great travel companion? |

There are not much qualities to say though, but the act of being kind with your travel partner can make the travel more enjoyable, patient to answer questions though you consider them silly, and lastly being ever ready to educate anyone who needs assistance e.t.c, these and many more can be considered as qualities of a travel companion. Therefore, I will love to invite @goodybest @josepha and @dequeen to also participate.
