Hello amazing steemians, trust everyone is doing perfectly well 🥰 am doing well too.

Introduction

Being scared is part of the feelings we try so hard not to make it manifest. But somehow it’s keeps happening especially in our lowest and dark moments.

Okay friends the story goes this way;
Was a moment I try to forget and buried but this contest brought back the old memories.

Each day I keep asking what would have happened if the incident took place, what if the accident actually occurred?

What was happening? Who was with you?

It’s was on September, we had a bridal makeup to deliver at Ik (ikok ekpene local government in Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria)

After the work, we were to return back to Uyo, very late in the evening when our bus was chased by the boys in the village, they asked the driver to stopped the bus. Everyone in the bus were scared including the driver, he refused to stop the bus and keep driving in a high speed that almost lead to accident but thank God for divine protection. Still we lost them, they were with harm weapons to rob us.

I was with one of my colleagues who followed us to the work, our boss wasn’t with us in the vehicle (bus).

How did you feel?

Was really scared, my heart was beating very fast. I was seriously praying inside for God’s interference.

Explain what led to the fear and what you did to handle it.

The fear of being robbed, rape and probably kill. The guys that chased was were not friendly they had something bad in mind to carry out.

I tried staying calm, everyone in the bus were praying deeply. I start mediating to stay calm and not be too scared.

How did things end?

Thank God things end well.
They didn’t get to us and with the high speed from the driver we missed them. Everyone returned home safely without any harm.

How did this moment stay with you?

Was very scaring moments and each day I pray not to experience such things again.
I try not to think about it and bury it.

Conclusion

Since this incident I tried my best to avoid night movement and be careful of the villages I go for works (bridal makeup) and always pray about every steps taken.

In such a situation, we are terrified of losing our lives, being robbed, or experiencing another tragedy. Thanks to your driver's abilities, you were all able to escape that unpleasant situation. Thank you for entering the contest.

Thank God the driver was able to speed off so such people wouldn't carry out their evil intent
