Cricket was known as Boy's Sports in England.
In the beginning of the 14th century, cricket was played by King Edward II in Westminster and Newenden, England.
Cricket is a game which was earlier popular as a boy's game and now it is being played a lot by adults as well. Initially it was popular among children but it was increasingly taken up by adults in the 17th century.
For the first time in 1697, a county match of cricket was played between Sussex and KENT another county.
Rules of Cricket
The fundamentals governing bat-ball, wicket, dimensions of the pitch, overs, runs, when they were originally made, it is not known till date.
Laws of CRICKET
Under which rules and regulations like LBW, middle stump, bat width were included in the cricket rule book.
William Clarke formed the 'All England Eleven' cricket team in 1846.
Cricket expanded further with the spread of the railway network in England in the late 19th century.
The first ever international cricket match was between the US and Canada in 1844.
England, Australia and South Africa were the founding members of the ICC.
The Imperial Cricket Conference ICC was founded in 1909.
In 1926 there were only England, West Indies, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand as test playing countries.
1912 PARSIS, Sikhs, HINDUS & MUSLIMS VS Europeans match was played for the first time.
In 1848 PARSI COMMUNITY formed the first cricket club of India as ORIENTAL CRICKET CLUB.
RANJIT SINHJI and K.S. DULEEPSINHJI were the first players who played in ENGLAND CRICKET TEAM.
RANJI TROPHY (1934) & DULEEP TROPHY (1961) are two DOMESTIC CRICKET tournaments of India named after them.
In 1932 India played the first test match with England and lost.
INDIAN OWN IN 1952 THE TEST VICTORY, IN THEIR 24TH MATCH AGAINST ENGLAND FIRST TIME.
IN THE SAME YEAR INDIA WON THEIR FIRST TEST SERIES WHICH WAS AGAINST PAKISTAN.
1956 SERIES WIN AGAINST NEWZEALAND
In 1961-62 India won test series against England.
1971 ONE-DAY CRICKET INDIAN TEAM COULD NOT GO BEYOND FIRST ROUND IN FIRST TWO WORLD CUPS.
ICC started World Cup 1975.

1983 CRICKET WORLD CUP WON BY INDIAN TEAM INCLUDING KAPIL DEV RAVI SHASTRI MORE...
Ireland joined the ICC as an Associate Member in 1993, a year before Scotland. In 2000 Bangladesh and since 1992 Zimbabwe were added as members of the International Cricket Council. The Netherlands became an ODI member in 2018.
People enjoyed run and wicket statistics show, match forecast, commentary, hi-tech HD Cameras, etc.
In the 20th Century, High Speed Photograph, Computer and Internet allowed millions of people to watch cricket throughout the world.
1990s SACHIN, GANGULY, LAXMAN and DRAVID were stalwarts of the Indian cricket team.
17 FEBRUARY 2005 NEW FORMAT T20 INTERNATIONAL MACH WAS PLAYED. WORLD CUP WAS INTRODUCED IN 2007 and India manage to beat Pakistan to win the trophy.
In 2009 number one rank in test cricket.

In 2011 India again won their second world cup. They also own test series against Australia, England and Pakistan.

The International Cricket Council recognised the Indian Premier League format as the official format of the T20 World Tournament.
In 2008 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE revolutionized and popularized cricket throughout the world. Because of this, its viewership records keep breaking every time.
The Indian team won the Asian Cup several times in 1910, 2016 and 2019.
Incidentally today the whole world is waiting for the IND Vs ENG 1ST T201 22 JAN | WED at 6 PM KOLKATA EDEN GARDEN.
