I'm very excited to participate in the powerup contest hosted by @jyoti-thelight ma'am in one of my favourite community.
Thursday is a very auspicious day as it is weekly Laxmi Maa worship day. So today I'll burn some steem as a sacrifice to mata Laxmi.
I had 7.375 SBD so I signed in my wallet. I selected the market option from the drop-down menu. I choose the entire SBD to buy STEEM. It showed 39.505 Steem for convert. I selected the buy button and confirmed ok. It took about 7 hours for the transfer to wallet.
I again open the wallet. I sign-in to wallet with my private owner key. I found the SP before power up 4,022.606 STEEM. I took a screenshot as uploaded below.

I clicked the half hand arrow beside the Steem value. I just selected power up button. And took 28 steem for power up. I confirmed the amount to burn. I took a screenshot and shared.
I regularly poweup on weekly basis in order to maintain my club status which not only make my upvote strong but also strengthen the Steem value. So it is always a pleasure to burn 50% or more Steem as a responsible Steemian. It is also mandatory to maintain a minimum club status to participate various contest organised by the different communities as eligibility.
After power up I found my SP 4,051.618 STEEM. I took a screenshot and shared. So my power up is 29 STEEM.

I think now onwards my Club status will reduced to 5050. So all communities have to change my lebel. Now I also make tag as club5050 in the comming week. My club status will be Club5050 in the transition of club status.
