Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you my diary of Eid day and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more special day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

It’s a special day for all Muslim Ummah and hardly would be anyone in the entire world who would get up late in the morning as it’s a festival and people offer prayers right from the dawn. I was no different from the rest of the people and got up early in the morning and went to the nearby mosque to offer the morning prayers in community with the other people of the society. Upon returning, I got into bed for a second spell of sleep as I was going through a sleep deficit because of going to bed late in the night.Upon getting up at 7:30 AM, I went for the congregational prayers in the grand Mosque of the village. All the males of the society could be seen offering Eid prayers together. It’s the time, people embrace each other irrespective of their differences and give greetings . The actual process of sacrificing animals start after the conclusion of congregational prayers and the actual movement of people starts.

We have to wait for the butcher until then we offered the sheep special food and fodder like cereals, maize, et cetera as it was the last time, when we were having a glimpse of sheep whom we have raised with so much of affection and love. I also visited My grandmother‘s home, which is just half a kilometre away from my place, and it’s important for all the people to visit relatives and give them greetings and share happiness with them.

Later in the day, my uncle arrived and we commenced the actual sacrificial activity that lasted for more than two hours. After processing the meet, we set off for distribution of the same among our neighbours and relatives. I got towards the more difficult area because of its hilly terrain and I not only performed the activity of distribution, but also set off with an intention to burn some excess calories which I otherwise used to burn during the morning walks. But as today I had to offer the congregational prayers, I couldn’t go for a walk. It took me about two hours to finish my job, after which I had to attend some guests who already had arrived at our place with the same purpose of distribution of meat. Mention is to be made here of the Way we distribute the meat,we make three equal shares which are distributed equally among neighbours, relatives, and one’s own family.

The philosophy of distribution of meat among neighbours and relatives can be related to the fact that it provides us an opportunity to meet our relatives and neighbours which otherwise is a rare activity in this modern world. I got to see some new people in the society, which I otherwise, never have talked with or have visited. It is also important because it provides us an opportunity to feed the poor ones. It is a reason of love and affection among the various sections of a society.
Eid ul Azha helps the economy of a nation by liquidation of stagnant money that otherwise remains locked up. A large portion of people get livelihood from this very day as they are involved with livestock business and this day helps them to sell off major portion of their stock and help them to boost their economic strength. The markets remain full with customers which also is a major factor in circulation of money within a state.

Later, in the day, I couldn’t have dinner because I had a good enough quantity of roasted meat throughout the day. I went to sleep at 11:30 PM and was a little early to bed to be able to rise up early on the second day of Eid.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
