Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

This morning, I woke up early, and the reason was the long nights these days. Because it’s winter here, sleep completes early. People tend to settle down at home in the evening, have dinner, and sleep early, so they’re able to rise early in the morning. The same has been true for me. I got up, did ablution, and went to the nearby mosque for prayer. People were already gathered there, and we spent an hour in worship. Afterward, when I came out, I felt the cold and thought about skipping my walk today but decided to go ahead. I took a round around the village, which took about 45 minutes. After returning, I went straight to freshen up in the washroom, and then I had breakfast with my parents in the dining room.

The Panchayat elections are approaching, and preparations are in full swing. This is an opportunity for the villagers to elect their representatives at the village level, who will then work for the village in the Panchayat. It’s a democratic system, and one of the principles of our democracy is that no voter should be left out and everyone has the right to vote. Therefore, revising the electoral roll for the Panchayat is essential, including adding new voters. Today, it was crucial to convey this information to the people, so it was very important to go to the office, and I left early for this purpose.

In this process, as soon as I reached the office today, I received the notices and then went to post them in the villages where I am posted. I happily began my day’s work, and after putting up the notices, I also went to check on some ongoing developmental works. It is our responsibility to ensure that the work is done correctly. Since these works are carried out by private contractors, it becomes our duty to monitor them closely. We have to ensure that the funds from the public treasury are not wasted or end up in the wrong hands. That’s why we make sure to stay present at the work sites and keep an eye on things.

In the evening, when my office day ended, my friends called me and said they were going to a new restaurant for dinner. I didn’t want to miss this moment, so I told them I’d join. Hearing this, they were happy, and when I left, I met them in Chadoora town. I never want to miss these times with friends because they’re very precious and memorable. Moments like these shouldn’t be missed in life. Since I enjoy food as well, I definitely didn’t want to skip this. We went to a new restaurant called “Delhi Darbar,” where we enjoyed butter chicken and some naan before heading back to our respective homes.

In the evening, as I was returning home, it started raining. This rain was happening after a long time—after at least four months—and it brought a unique joy to everyone. My parents were very happy because, as Kashmiris, we mostly depend on this, especially since we live in a high-altitude area where rainfall and snowfall are the only sources of irrigation. This rain is very important for our agriculture.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
