Early this week, we all experienced network downtime on the Steemit platform, which made some of us not to carry out our Steemit functions on that exact day. In this post, I have shared how I felt on that day.

The initial steps that I took when I was unable to access the Steemit platform were that I posted, commented, and upvotes other user posts using the SteemPro mobile app.

Sometimes when I am unable to access the Steemit platform, I change my internet network to see if the fault is on my side or not before reaching out to other Steemians to see if they are also experiencing the same issue. In a situation where it is a general issue, I do make use of the SteemPro app.

I only felt sad thinking that it was my network that was the cause of the problem, not knowing that it was a general issue. At some point, I was disturbed by the post that I had already written and was about to write. After trying to login into my profile and finding that it did not work, I felt sad and immediately downloaded the SteemPro app, which I then used and posted my content.

After 24 hours of not being able to access the Steemit platform, I felt worried and began thinking of the Steem in my wallet. However, the Steemit wallet was accessible, so I didn't feel so worried. I was only anticipating supporting other users with upvotes and comments.
What do you think is the possible cause of the server being down? |

Well, I think the cause of the server downtime might be an upgrade of the servers or a means of protecting the servers from hackers. Sometimes when servers are in the process of upgrading, people find it difficult to access the platform, which I think is the reason for the server downtime.

After accessing my profile, I became excited that our dear Steemit platform is back online for us all to access. I was even more jubilant over the fact that my profile got opened even faster than before.

I love this, my mentor too did introduce steem pro app to us, that we should use that in doing task we're willing to. But to most people, the steemit pro app was strange to them saying it's not user friendly
