The price of gold is going up like a mountain. So, consider now as a good time to invest in gold. At the same time, I thought that my daughters would be getting married in a couple of years and I would like gold jewellery to wear, so I decided to buy gold jewellery with the money I had in my savings.

I have an amount in savings account, an amount in fixed deposit and an amount in post office daily saving account, and the steems I earned Steemit and stored in binance - that and all together was around 4 lakh rupees. So, Yesterday I went to "Sri Bhanu Jewellery", a famous jeweler's shop in our town, thinking that I can buy about eight or six Sovereign(60 gm) gold jewels with it.

We generally find it best to buy jewellery on Fridays. Because according to Hindu mythology Friday is a special day of "Goddess Lakshmi". We believe that we will get wealth on that day so yesterday we went to buy jewelry. It was about six o'clock when we went to the shop. It was dark outside. The store was not crowded so the store representative was free to show us the jewelry.

I first decided which jewelry to buy and looked at the rings, bracelets, necklaces, bracelets, earings etc. I also asked their prices and got to know. What I learned from that is that jewelry with more designs is more expensive. They ask extra charges for designing, making charges and wastage charges over the cost of gold. Similarly they add 3% government tax called GST. If you want to invest only, it is better to buy gold coin or biscuit gold, if you want to accessorize, you should buy jewelry with less design, then you will have less making charge and wastage.

However, since I have two girls in our house, I decided to buy necklaces and necklace sets and visited them, thinking that it would be worth it for us to wear gold jewelry when going out for special occasions. They showed me many types of necklaces. Some of the jewellery was modern, some antique designs and traditional Indian designs. Some jewels were decorated with various stones. I decided that if I liked the antique design the most, I would buy it. They put it on for me to try on. Since I wanted to look like a Saree and I was wearing a Salvar kamiz, they wrapped a Saree-like cloth over me and put on jewelry.

When it was shown, I liked it a lot. The necklace alone and the aaram were 52 gms. I also tried to buy a "Kammal gimmicky(earing and drops) "along with this one but the price was a bit high and I didn't have that much money so I just purchased the necklace and the radius. I negotiated with them and finalized for Rs.4,25,000/-

After that after completing the weighing and billing formalities I paid them through mine only my husband's UPI. After payment the shop owner congratulated me with the jewel. After getting it we put it in the car and went to this nearby restaurant for dinner. For dinner I ordered "Appam". My son ordered Chappati and "Paneer Chilli" My husband ordered "Masala Dosa" and we shared everything.

Then we left from there and came home. After coming home, I took the jewelry and put it in front of God in front of God and thanked God and locked it in my locker. I felt the day was very lucky to me and i was so happy with those jewellery thank God and thanks to Steemit because the amount I saved from earning on Steemit helped me to buy this jewelry.
