The diary game || Visiting to the Village Temple

Hi friends, I'm going to share with you my experience of visiting the village temple.

Every month, on the new moon day, we usually perform puja at our temple. Since the day before yesterday was new moon, my husband and I decided to go to that temple and left in the morning after sending my son to school. The temple was about 70 kilometers away from our house. Since we go to worship the God I wore traditional costume saree.

The Puja is usually held at one in the afternoon, so we bought the necessary things for the puja and left home at around 10.30 in the morning. Since the temple was in a village, the entire route was a village. We had to go on a narrow path. It was very beautiful to see the villages. On both sides, there were agricultural lands and agricultural crops cultivated in them.

On the way there were huge banyan trees, royal trees and willow trees. All of these were amazing and rare to see. At one place, there were many banyan trees, so we went to see them and stopped to take a photo. There was also an old well there.

When we looked at the well, there was water half way up. When we looked down, a cold wind was blowing from it. There was also a big pulley in it, which is proof that water was taken from it and used in those days. It was very pleasant to see all these. Then I was amazed to see the trees there and stood by it and took a photo.

We reached the temple by a route that enjoyed all these. It was 12:30 when we reached the temple. Preparations for the puja were underway. A lot of people had gathered there. There was a river near the temple. The water in that river was flowing in abundance. The water looked green because of the plants and trees around it. It was very beautiful to see. I took pictures of it from different angles.

The temple is very old but not very popular. Only local people and their families visit this temple, and that too once a month on the new moon day. There were large idols in this temple. People believe that if they make their wishes and place stones on those idols, their wishes will be fulfilled.

The puja started at exactly one o'clock. The temple priests chanted mantras and performed rituals. People asked God to bless them and make their requests. Those who had already come to the temple and fulfilled their requests brought their offerings. For example, they brought vegetables grown in their gardens, coconuts, goats, chickens, etc. Some of them cooked food and served it to the people who had come there.

I also made some requests to God and prayed to Him, hoping that they would be fulfilled. After praying to God, we touched and worshiped the aarti they performed, walked around the temple once, bought and ate the offerings they gave us, and left from there.

We left there at around 2 o'clock and were returning home. On the way back, the villages were very beautiful to see. I took pictures of them while sitting there in the morning. Then there was a nursery there. To buying some plants, we stopped the car and went inside to have a look.

The nursery was very beautiful, there were many types of flowers, trees, fruit trees, and saplings. They were divided into categories and kept in flower pots and bags according to their type. We went inside and looked at everything, the flowers in them were very beautiful to look at.

I took pictures of them. Then I thought about what plant to buy and looked at each plant. Then the gardener came and gave me a rose plant and a marigold plant. He said that its price was a hundred rupees. We bargained and decided on 150 rupees. Then he also happily bought it and gave me the plants. After receiving it, we started back towards home.

Even after that, I kept taking photos of the gardens and trees on both sides of the road. It was so refreshing and green to look at. I was very happy. Somehow, we reached home at around 3 pm. My son's school had finished at 2:30 pm, so he was playing in the school grounds. We picked him up and came home.

Thus, the day before yesterday was a very special day for me. Going to the temple was a great relief to my heart. I thank God for giving me this day.
