Contest || 2025 Vision: A new year's reflection

Hi guys! first of all I wish you a very Happy New Year to all my friends present at Steemit platform. I am writing this article in order to be a participant in the contest launched by @alfazmalek.

The new year has begun with a hope of positivity. Many must have taken pledge for some good accomplishments. Many must have pledge for a good change in himself/herself. The year 2024 have been passed with some good & bad of experiences. We celebrate New Year with fervor. We must thank the God for keeping us strong through thick and thin. Now we are in a new year and we must try for the enhancement of our personality

Some Glimpses of 2024 🪅

In February, 2024 I was at Allahabad. My quarters were allotted and I had been shifted there. January was chilling so I didn't move outward so much. February month was some relaxing and I thought to visit Magh mela which is organised every year at Sangam, Prayagraj. It is around 5 kilometres away from my house. My friend and I visited Sangam for many days. We clicked some beautiful pictures. Our department had installed camp inside the mela. In case any relative of staff needed to stay there, it was for there convenience.

In March, we have a lot of work to accomplish. March is the last month of financial year and people rush to invest their money. This is very crucial month for businesses due to closing. After March, April comes with hectic schedule. I started shopping for my engagement which was scheduled on April 24 in 2024. I visited many shops so that I could buy garments for myself and my brother. Finally I bought all the necessary things and on 24th of April engaged with @krishmi. She is very sensible and honest lady I have ever met. We started dating on phone. Yes! In villages we date on phone as there are restrictions on meeting of couple before wedding. Some couples manage to have one or two meetings without letting anyone know but the rule is rule.

After my engagement days gone and scorching summer came. We all were troubled with unbearable heat. In May 2024 my training program started which lasted for 45 days. We learnt about the rules, various procedures, Income Tax Laws and much more. A couple of day before the end of the training we all went to visit Allahabad Museum. It was a beautiful building which has many old sculptures, beads, ancient literature, old weapons. We also watched some paintings which were really awesome. Then we all gathered in the space with green grass which was in front of the museum building.

Now it was end of June and rainy season had started and so the shopping for my wedding. My wedding was fixed on 26 of November and the engagement of my younger sister just 9 days before on 17 of November. Every family member was preparing for the wedding. We all had some dreams which were to be made true during these functions. Small kids were practicing dance 🩰. Elderly were making arrangements for the functions. Ladies were busy in shopping of clothes and jewellery. Finally the days came and it happened beautifully. Thanks to the Lord Shiva and our every well wisher for all the good happenings with me in 2024.

That's all I really enjoyed in 2024. This was good year for me and my family. I will remember for long time. Now let's come to the new year 🎊.

My plans/expectations from 2025 🏂

So I have a list of the plans or expectations which I am going to share with you all.

• I have to pass the exam for my upcoming promotion in 2025.
• I have to go on a tour with my lovely wife as I couldn't go anywhere due to cold.
• I would enhance my personality reading a few good books and learning new things.
• I am going to make every member of my family visit the Mahakumbh happening in Jan-Feb, 2025.
• I expect my two friends who live with me, getting a good govt. job soon. I pray the God for their job.
• I would love to see my younger sister getting married happily this year as she is already engaged.
