It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to participate in this contest today organized by @jyoti-thelight which talks about POWERUP & WIN WEEK 30. I will be making my entry below so read through it and drop your valuable comment as it will be appreciated.
It's another week to grow our account and I'm so happy to be part of those doing a power-up to build my account today. This is week 30 of the power-up challenge in this community and I will be sharing with you all the process I passed through to power up 23.214 Steem.
The processes are seen below with a screenshot as a complete guide to anyone who has no idea how this process is done especially the newbies.
Step 1: Ensure you have logged into your account and your wallet is in the format below.
Step 2: Click on the drop-down menu which is attached to the Steem side as seen in the screenshot below for your information.
Step 3: Enter the amount of Steem you wish to power up and then click on the power up option as you can see in the screenshot below.
Step 4: Confirm the transfer you wish to do to your vesting and then click on the ok button as you can see in the screenshot below.
Step 5: Go back to your wallet and then confirm if the amount you have powered up has been added to the initial SP as you can see mine has been added from the screenshot below.

There are many reasons why we must power up our Steem. One of the main reasons is that it helps us to grow more in the Steemit platform by earning more curation rewards when we vote on other people's posts.
Powering up helps us to support others and also become part of the management team in the Steemit platform. You all know that for you to be a curator or Steem Representative, you will have to have a lot of SP.
So those are the main reasons why I always power up my Steem and I'm very sure soon I will be among those who are representing the Steemit platform and I will also earn more rewards by voting.
