Good day steemian!

Its wednesday, and I wanted to participate sister @jyoti-thelight orginezed contest about "POWER UP".

But before that, let me tell you something about my journey before I had my first power up.

I joined steemit for 6 years already. I had an idea of this platform from my churchmate @bien. Before, steemit here in the Philippines is so famous. There were lots of Filipinos participated. We even had a meet-up every month and had a steemit tshrt.

But sometimes, if our goal of participating such platform is just so shallow, if we got a little problem we definitely stop and easily got discouraged. And I can say that, I was one of them before having a very shallow purpose of why we participated the platform.

Our goal that time is just to have a monthly earnings. On my first year of joining the platform, I can say that the platform is so amazing. I withdraw 10,000 php (1000steem) every month. And that money is too big already. That is why I really had lots of recruit because I also wanted them to experience.

As time passed, the steem value dropped and didnt arises anymore. Some of my friends, stopped the platform while I still continue.

As I continue, I make it habbit to read entries about the platform posted my the moderators. As I read those, I had some realizations that we must not make the platform an earning platform but we will make it as our investment. Yes, because of that I started to join club and had my very first power up.

When I reach 12000 steempower, I am so excited to reach tripple dolphin. Unfortunately, a trial came into my way. I got miscarriage, and my baby in my womb is still 2 months and I still havent had any savings in my wallet.

I just close my eyes, and do my powerdown. Sometimes, we really had to do things we dont like. But we had to do it because we needed it.

After couple of months, I tried to post and nobody noticed me. I just post and do my power up and engage to everyone, until after a year, I was slowly get noticed. And I am so greatful to all the people and big boss who didnt leave me until to this moment.

And now I wanted to give back all the great things this steemit platform had helped.

I will be sharing to you how I made my power up edp yo those newbies.

✨STEPS ON HOW TO POWER UP!✨

Step 1:

_{Go to your steemit wallet and log in using your active key. Make sure that it is your active key you are using not the posting key so you can proceed to the next step.}

Step 2:

_{Once you are already in your steemit wallet, scroll down and stop in the steem part. In the steem, there is a drop down, click it and click POWER UP.}

Step 3:

_{You will be directed in this part, entry your amount of steem you wanted to power up and click POWER UP.}

Step 4:

_{Afterwards, click OK.}

Step 5:

_{Finally, you can check your steempower because after seconds it will go immediately to your steempower. As of now, I already had my 7544 steem power, I am now on my way to double dolphin. As you notice, you can see there is -3500 under my steempower, it means that I delegated some part of my power. And 2000steempower was delegated to hindwhale.}
