Good day steemians!

April 21, 2024 is the most awaited date of triathletes. Because that would be the date of IRONMAN 70.3. Ironman or also called as TRIATHLON happen again in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City.

During this activity, the athletes will be performing 3 activities simultaneously. The first activity will be swimming in which they will be performing it in Engano Beach.

After swimming, they will proceed to Biking which started from where they swum going to Soong, down to CCLEX (the longest bridge which connects Cordova to Cebu) then U-turn and going back to Mactan Area.

And in this particular activity, our school were tasked to bring 1500 students from senior highschool and Grade 10 students. This students were tasked to cheer the bikers. They were not allowed to say foul words nor crossing the road especially when the activity already started.

We gathered in our assembly area at 6 in the morning and went home around 9 in the morning. We decided not to finish the race because some of my students disnt eat their breakfast and aside from that the area is already hot and we cant anymore the pain brought by the sun.

After biking, running took place from Mactan Newtown going back to Engano Beach. Some of our students went to the running area to look for Filipino artist joined the activity.

This activity is so memorable to my students because it was their first time to witness such event and they were also able to bond with their classmates.

The Lapu-Lapu City mayor awarded the first 3 to finish the race. And the activity went well.
