Today, I will participate in a beautiful contest by @jyoti-thelight mam of the Hindwhale community. The name of the contest is HWC contest #39: POWER UP & WIN - WEEK 30. I hope everyone likes my post about power-ups.

Step 01:

I first log in to my ID on the Steemit platform. Then, I enter my profile. Then I click on Wallet in profile. It is shown in the picture below.

Then I see my earned Steem in my Wallet. My earned Steem was 193.410. My total Steem power was 2548.576. Then I log into my wallet. I log into my wallet using my posting key. It is shown in the picture below.

Then I click on the arrow in the right corner of my acquired Steem. Then I see a text box. Click on the power-up option of the text box. It is shown as a red block in the image below.

Then I see a text box that says Convert to Steem power. Here, in the empty cell of Amount I have to write the amount of Steem power up from my earned Steem. I will power up 193 steem from my earned steem so write that in the empty cell. I want to keep the club100 tag so, I will power up my entire Steem. Then I click on the power-up option. It is shown as a red block in the image below.

Then I see a text box saying Confirm transfer to vesting. Click the OK button without making any changes to this text box. It is shown in the picture below.

Then I complete the power-up using my active key. I wait a few seconds and check my wallet. My earned Steem decreased to 0.410 and Steem Power to 2741.578. It is shown as a red block in the image below.

Write the importance of performing powerup.

Importance of powering up:
The older I get on the Steemit platform, the more I understand its importance. Regular power-ups are required to retain my club tag. There are certain rules for getting Club5500, Club75, and Club100 tags. I have to follow these rules to power up. I want to keep the club100 tag so I power up my entire earned Steem. However, according to the rules of the Steemit platform, any one of the three clubs must have a club tag. That's why powering up is very important to keep the club tag.

Then, I need to power up to strengthen my ID. The more Steem power I have, the stronger my ID will be. Then, as my Steem power increases, I can reward the writings of different authors by upvoting them. Then my engagement with different writers will increase. So, I want to say that the importance of powering up on the Steemit platform is very important.
