Recently, I, along with my parents, went on a trip to Mumbai, India. Mumbai is also known as the city of dreams, and this city seems like it never sleeps.
Day 1: We reached the Mumbai station at 10:00 pm, and then we took an auto to my cousin’s place and we reached home around 10:45 pm. I enjoyed the auto ride as there is no auto available here in Nepal due to the hilly areas out here.
Day 2: After finishing the breakfast, I booked a cab to Siddhivinayak Temple, which was around 1 hour away from our place. We reached the temple around 11:50 am but unfortunately, the temple was about to close for 40 minutes. So, we waited in the queue for the next 40 minutes and then when the queue started moving, it took around 30 minutes more to do the worship (darshan). Siddhivinayak temple is a Ganesha temple which was built in 1801. It is one of the most famous temples in India.
Then, we went to Laxmi temple, which was nearby, so we went there on foot. After worshipping the goddess Laxmi, we went for lunch at Bhagat Tarachand restaurant which is also one of the famous restaurants in Mumbai, India.
After finishing with the lunch, we visited many Jain temples which were near by. I don’t have much photos to share, so sharing whatever I had clicked with my phone. Then, we had tea and booked a cab for home.
It took us more than 1 hour 30 minutes to reach home as there was a huge traffic. For people in Mumbai, it’s usual to get stuck in traffic for hours. But, for me, it was exhausting.
Then, after reaching home, I played chess with my cousin’s daughter and went for a night walk. I love night walks and gazing at the moon.
That’s all for today. Will continue with day 3 tomorrow.
