Assalamu Alaikum to all. Wishing everyone good health. Today I came to this community with a post about power ups. This contest is called "HWC Contest #71 || POWERUP & WIN WEEK 49". Thanks to @jyoti-thelight for organizing such a wonderful contest. Below I will show the steps to power up and explain the importance of power up.

Step :- 1

• First I login to Steemit wallet. Then it showed that I have 8343.116 sp and 59.796 liquid steem.

Step :- 2

• Then I clicked on 59.796 STEEM option. Then some options will appear. From there I clicked the Power Up option. Then it will take you to the next page.

Step :- 3

• Then the amount will show. So you have to set the amount here as much as you power up steem. I am in club5050 so already transferred 50% and selected rest for power up.

Step :- 4

• After giving amount click on power up option. Then OK button will show here. Now you have to click OK button to confirm, I did that. Now the power up will be complete.

Step :- 5

• Then I again clicked on wallet option. After entering the wallet I saw that my total SP amount has increased. Previously there was 8443 steem, now it is 8402 steem.

⚡ The importance of powering up ⚡

I love to power up. Because I want to increase my account power. The more I power up, the more my power increases. Powering up is important.

• Powering up increases your voting power or voting power. As a result, you help the people whose posts or comments you vote for to get more rewards.

• The more power up we have, the more credibility our account has. Because it shows that you are interested in establishing a long-term relationship with the Steemit platform.

• The more voting power you have, the more curation rewards you'll earn. This can also increase the amount of income from Steemit. Powering up allows you to participate more in the Steemit Blockchain.
