Travel blog (17-11-2024) || Visiting poet Rabindranath Tagore's father-in-law's house

Assalamualaikum all of my friends. How are you all? I hope you all are well. I am also fine. Today I have come to you with a new travel blog on the day I went to visit the in-laws of the world poet Rabindranath Tagore with my family members located in our Khulna district. So today I am presenting to you my travel blog dated 17th November 2024.

On 17th November 2024, after lunch, we all gathered together to go somewhere new. Then we all decided together that we would visit Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws house which is 10 km away from my home Shiromani village in Phultala upazila. Then we decided to hire an auto rickshaw for around noon to night for BangladeshI 500 Taka or 19.2 Steem. After hiring an auto rickshaw we got ready for a quick tour and left for Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws after 3 PM.

After about 40 minutes of auto rickshaw journey, we reached our destination. On reaching the destination we asked the auto rickshaw driver to keep the auto rickshaw to one side and I along with my family members came in front of the gate of Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws house. But unfortunately I came to know that the gate of this spot was closed for visitors on November 17. Then we enter the gate in a condition where one talks to the Ansar members.

As the day was a holiday and visitors were not allowed to enter here on that day but still we were allowed to enter there as we were members of the same upazila. But the main condition for us was that we could not enter Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws house which was quite unfortunate. Because we wanted to visit here to enter Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws and take pictures of the various structures of the historic house. As it was a closing day, we entered there through the mana entrance and took a look around Rabindranath Tagore's father-in-law's house. But first I spent some time sitting on one of the benches there because I liked the place very much.

Since we came from some distance, we wanted to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings of Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws, even if we could not enter inside. Moreover the house was clearly visible from outside the gate so we decided to spend some time there. Then we went to a mango tree on one side of Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws house and saw a small wooden house on top of the mango tree which looked quite nice.

I saw my wife and my two visiting sisters climb the wooden stairs to this small wooden house. To tell the truth, that time was much better for me because Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws could be seen quite well from the small wooden house. Moreover, everything around Rabindranath Tagore's father-in-law's house could be seen well from this small house, so we all stayed together in that small house made of wood on the mango tree for some time.

As we had a quick tour around Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws then we all decided to take our auto rickshaw for a tour of the KUET campus. As we came here with a hope but our hope was somewhat disappointed, we decided to spend our remaining time elsewhere, we left the gate of Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws home and again headed for the KUET campus in an auto rickshaw. From Rabindranath Tagore's in-laws' house, it took us about 50 minutes to reach the Quetta campus. After reaching the KUET campus we wandered around and by then dusk had fallen.

After entering the KUET campus we visited some of the facilities there. As it is a university we enjoyed visiting there. Then we went there to look around the sculptures of the heroes who took part in the liberation war and walked around the streets around the entire campus. In between we spent quite some time taking pictures with various installations which we liked much more.

After 8 pm we leave the KUET campus and then we all eat gram flour from a gram flour shop in front of KUET campus. Here the price of a plate of chickpea gugni is Bangladeshi 30 Taka or 1.1 Steem

After having a light meal at night, we all decided to go back home by auto rickshaw. Then we continued to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the streets of Khulna at night and by nine o'clock at night we reached Shiromani Bazar. After explaining the market we had a cup of tea from there and straight back home and thus we ended our day trip.
